speaking of which, ive noticed a bit of increased noise coming from the fan on my 360. i got it in March 2007 so hopefully it should be alright. anyway, i im not too bothered because i got an extended warranty from GAME that comes into action after the microsoft warranty and it covered the red ring of death.
when i bought it though i was told that i could have a bit of noise but the wierd fan extension thingy would fix that and make it run much quieter. if you have moved into a smaller room though does your 360 have enough ventilation?
some lag can be normal. bioshock is really the only game i have that ive ever had lag problems with. i wouldnt be too concerned unless it really becomes a bad problem.
to be honest i preferred the dash of the original xbox. with the blades idea it looks....cluttered. they need something that really demonstrates the graphical capability of the 360 to wow you every time you turn it on.
tbh im not bothered about when it is, which is unusual for me, im star wars crazy. but ive been put off it ever since ive been researching into Fable 2.
we seem to be getting to the point now where not a single game can be produced without some 'do-gooder' complaining about something. 'oh we cant have that, it might offend the church' 'oh, we cant have sex, it might offend the spider on the wall' 'oh we cant have bombs, it might offend the government'. for once i would like a game that isnt ridiculed all the time simply because its different. bioshock, yeah it might be abit wierd and grotesque in parts, but if you get rid of that then you remove the essence of the entire game. if you cant play a game without complaining because you kill other people then try playing dead rising or something, that will really put you off.
Despite the fact that gaming consoles are getting more and more complex gaming seems to be getting easier and easier. I mean, if they want to make gaming accessable to everyone then make them buy a Wii or DS. Even though the game may seem too easy I may buy it purely for the fact that it is Star Wars.
