Did anyone else notice they said you could play games while downloading in that post?Jamh83
Yep. You can queue up to six downloads at one time, I believe. "Up to 6 pieces of content from the PlayStation store can be queued up for download while the user enjoys other functions of the PS3 system, including playing games, browsing the web, using media functions including photo browsing, video and music playback."

At the end of the day it doesnt really matter. Like everyone says, its the casuals that will determine the winner. If 100+ million people enjoyed their PS2's then they will wait for the price drop on the PS3 and because they are casuals they wont mind the wait. Its only the serious gamers and fanboys that seem to whine about delays, losing exclusivity etc.

Now that next week has been and gone, are you very happy? I certainly am, even though Im not a PS3 owner, yet. After so many years of never really wanting to play kiddy games simply because I have grown out of them, Little Big Planet makes me feel like a big kid.
The gameplay looks fun but I think what does it for me is the music. For some reason it just seems to work very well with the game and because it doesn't sound nicety nice (something you would expect from a kiddy game) its probably what is really catching my attention. 2008 is too far away.

I guess the icing on the cake would be if this game supported 7 players although thats probably wishful thinking.

Oh yeah, Im also very happy about Home :).

So what does everyone else think?

NO, Phil clearly stated it won't cost monthly fees and that they got other financing scemes.

This is very good news and its definitely something to cheer about. Hopefully places like amazon will bring the price of a ps3 game down even further.
