@amar1234 Why buy a next gen system when all big-name developers/games are dwindling...if not failing.

Seems more developers are closing these days than ever - several big name codeshops shut over the last few years and developers/publishers are cutting back on releases. This added cost of developing real next gen could be the tipping point.

Imo the 'next gen' maybe the last if this worldwide economic downwards spiral continues....

@uncle5555 Maybe because despite what the usual PR BSrs say PS4 and Xbox3 wont seriously outperform the current gen - well not by any significant margin anyway

@Skrilla_XS Why not? - those specs are not that amazing and the controller is old tech already - its not like its GPU is made of infinium or something LOL

@ciphfer PS3 Cell technology is/was flawed from the start and the codged NVidia graphics were underspec too - so how does this not mean Sonys tech was at fault - the price was exorbitant, but would have been more acceptable if the machine actually delivered on all what Sony promised from it.
