LAG is of GREAT concern to me. I know he says he doesn't notice any, but that may be cause millions of people aren't on it all at once yet. It's bad enough that the home-console lag we have now is acceptable. I really hope next gen consoles try harder to fix that. I guess that was the genius of the less sophisticated systems of yester-year. push a button, and the game responds INSTANTLY, not .0736 seconds later. Your games would feel sooooo much better to you.

Yeah... A world without proof of physical ownership? No cases? No instruction manuals? Another way that the consumer is getting the crappy end of the stick. Not to mention, even though digital distribution is technically cheaper than physical, we still may be paying around the same prices we are now for games, once this becomes the full-fledged norm. I won't say I'm scared of the future, but I am a little concerned.

Now that they'll have a powerful, robust system and an allegedly STRONG 3rd party backing, can Nintendo win back core gamers? Man I hope so. Innovation keeps this industry from being stale.

Nintendo-Cheating Husband / Core gamer-Dissatisfied Wife / Casual gamer-Mistress The Husband and Wife have been unhappy in their marriage for some time. The wife wanted her husband to perform better, but the husband just wanted something a little different, so he snuck out to see what else was out there. Along comes this sexy lady. Doesn't take much to impress her. She just wants to have fun from time to time (a little tennis, a little bowling) and the best part... She has lots of money! So they fool around a little (Wii!), while we, the wife knows what's going on the whole time, so we confront him about it. So then he feels bad and wants to make it up to us (Wii U) The wife has mixed feelings: Does she recall all of the fun times they had and take him back, or does she leave him for the 360? ROFL

I urge the doubters to watch the FLYING BIRD graphics demo in the conference. That was Wii U HARDWARE @ WORK, Not just CGI. The detail was impressive. IGNORE all the "NEW SUPER MARIO Mii" and "CHASE ME" graphics. It's A LOT BEEFIER THAN THAT. I think Nintendo just did a poor job with that conference honestly. So many of you are confused.

ALREADY HATE THE NEW Wii U? Plz read: Do I think there might be a little recycling from Nintendo? Possibly, but I'm NOT dismissing the systems potential just yet. Initial 3rd party support is WAY stronger this go around. A strong sign that I think A LOT OF YOU are overlooking. They've ALREADY had several HEAVY HITTER developers singing the WiiU's praises. This one is going to be able to perform like (and in some cases, because of newer tech specs, better than) the PS3 and 360. Their support will make ALL the difference. Many of you core gamers out there were hurt (POed) about Wii, and I understand that. That system had very little to offer us, content-wise and graphically. Now Of course, I get why they chose the stupid name (to keep the attention of their newly found GIANT casual demographic), but WiiU's BIGGEST problem for you is that IT HAS "Wii" IN THE NEW NAME. It leaves a bad taste in core gamers mouths. BUT REMEMBER: SONY and MS are going for an extended cycle for their current gen systems. Around 10 years, as opposed to an average 5. we're just a little over half-way in this cycle, so for the most part, this Wii U will be riding along side the PS3 and 360 for a good part of it's cycle. NINTENDO is really just beefing it all up for the back half of this 10 year run. And when the NEW NEXT GEN arrives, everybody's gonna come with something around the same time. To all of you already hating the system: I honestly believe that Nintendo is making this Wii U for you.
