My fear with this game is them being pressed for release like they did dwith brawl. Brawl was ultimately an unfinished product with very little character balance testing. Not to mention the many quirks and disjointed hitboxes (snakes extended forward tilt and insane up-tilt reach). I agree with this article about removing the tripping, no one likes random chance when it comes to competitive games, and tripping is an absolute momentum killer. I have to disagree with this article pertaining to the "fewer smash balls" section. I don't think he played the game enough to know that he could lower the frequency of items coming out, or that he could turn off smash balls all together. What was good about brawl was character uniqueness. no character was the same. Matchups were improved as in there were very few characters were able to dominate another character 9-1 or 10-0. Overall this was a good article. Just make sure that all characters have an ultimate kill technique that rarely fails, otherwise, they won't be seeing any competitive play time.

@Rickystickyman

If you say that the characters were fairly balanced, you have not played this game competitively at all.

@youndeke Unfortunately, if a hacker wants in bad enough, he will get in. All consoles and networks have been hacked into. There was a small time when there were reports of xbox accounts getting their credit card numbers used to purchase microsoft points for other accounts. Now there has never been a large scale hacking for any other console except the playstation.

I honestly believe that the people that will most like lose would be the retail stores like Gamestop. But it'll be a small amount. Downloadable games is what is being pushed on us a lot and there's no purchasing used on something like that. If consoles could be more like that, then they wouldn't have to put locks on them for used games. Only problem with that is possibly piracy but there can be a lot of preventative measures for that.

I agree that it's too early to release another Playstation, but money is never an issue. Consoles are not that expensive. It's definitely way cheaper than getting a high-end PC and they last about the same amount of years as well. Only difference is that PC's have the ability to upgrade their hardware. Heck, if price was an issue, why have there been over 225 million consoles sold (across all 3 major platforms) since this generation's launch? not to mention subscription fees that possibly go along with it.

I agree with you. Back in the day, there were no such things as patches or DLCs that expanded the story or gave new perspective on what was already sold to us. We had to take it as it was, flaws and all. But we do have the technology to fix things that we would find faulty or game breaking. The publishers have been using this tactic for years now to get more money from us as well as extend the life of their own product, so why can't they improve upon their own story even when it's released?

I just have to ask.... is there ANY benefit AT ALL to justify keeping her? I mean I thought after every mission or major mission, i could talk to her in order to spread the word about our war efforts in an attempt to grow the military strength of the fleet, but that didn't happen.... So please, someone just please justify why I decided to keep her?

If they can improve what they've done with the new Mortal Kombat while keeping the characters' originality, I think this game will be a blast to own.

when the hell did we start talking about total net worth of a company that handles mostly software? and a japanese company that has its hands in EVERYTHING? We're talking about only consoles.
