@deviltaz35: hmmm I don't think the issue you are facing is input lag. I know that some attack animations may be slower (for certain weapons) but this is intentional and part of learning the game. The weapon animations and movement in the beta are pretty much the same in older monster hunter games. Perhaps it is a controller issue?

@siemper: If this is your first monster hunter game then your statement is understandable. What makes monster hunter fun is starting from the bottom and progressively defeating stronger monsters while slowly understanding the game mechanics, locations, monster types and most importantly farming monsters for better weapons and armor (and of course doing this with friends). When you start the demo you are thrust in with a variety of weapons, armor, ammo, traps, and the feeling that everything has been handed to you. In the beginning of a monster hunter game, the only things you start with are all the basic weapons and whatever you are provided in the hunter box at the start of every mission. All the weapons, armor, traps, ammunition, trinkets etc2 must be crafted on your own with the materials you find in the world. There are more missions than just track monster, kill the monster. Some missions are all about gathering, while some have you escort items back to the camp (and sometimes having a gigantic monster chasing you while doing so XD). And with voice acting in the game, I bet the story will be even more immersive this time around. Not to mention that if you make it far in the game, there are a host of advanced missions and monsters to hunt when you enter the higher ranks of monster hunter. And not to mention, DLC monsters are free for the game (They are still pumping out new monsters for the 3ds iterations of the game). Regarding combat, it feels clunky at first. But as you master each weapon, you will realize that some weapons are good for certain situations and each weapon has a variety of attacks and abilities. Monsters have certain attack cues and those will help you time your attacks or hint when to dodge. I hope you will give the game a chance when it comes out :)

@JOKER677: "as long as the multiplayer is good the game is good". That's an opinion buddy, which you are very much entitled to. Not everyone plays JUST for the multiplayer, regardless if that is the area of the game where a majority of people spend their time playing. If a game advertises a single player campaign and multiplayer mode, I personally would very much want to have an excellent campaign aside from the multiplayer.

I wish they make a game that is true to paper mario's roots. Just like the original paper mario and thousand year door. Best mario rpg's hands down. (and legend of the seven stars lol)

When I played multiplayer in Unity I didn't feel like an assassin. It felt like an army of 4 super powered humans mowing down ants. I think this is a step in the right direction! Hopefully Syndicate will have the AC1 vibe. I loved how the first game made you feel like you had to stalk your prey and get the hell out. Killing all the enemies was usually never an option in the first game, or a truly difficult choice (except the last part lol). Fingers crossed.

maybe its easier for them to develop for the consoles first then move on to the pc version so they can gauge the limitations of the console version then just upsize it from there on the pc.. And, im pretty xur they do consoles first because most of their sales come from those versions :D

There will never be and end to the debate of violent video games. When linking video games to violence, i highly believe that it should be done on a case to case basis. People with underlying mental health issues are more prone to be influenced by such factors and should not be sheeped together with kids of sound mental status.
Also, there's a reason why there is an ESRB. Its to get inappropriate games off the hands of children. Why let 13 and 15 year old kids play Manhunt in the study? It's one of the most violent video games out there. If a kid gets his hands on a game like Manhunt, I'd blame it on bad parenting. Stricter rules should be implemented in the household, or kids should be guided between right and wrong. But realistically speaking, trying to get M and A rated games off the hands of youngsters is like trying to get their hands off liquor and cigarettes, it will never happen.
