Get a Zalman clip-on mic, it's cheap, small and is the standard mic to be recomended for gaming with headphonesmarkop2003

Will that work with my CX500 IEM earphones? The cable for that isn't that thick. Or can I clip it to my shirt?

If I were to get a headset:

Budget: up to $60

USB or 3.5 mm: 3.5mm (my soundcard is good)

Style: None of the behind the head style. Everything else is considerable.

Stereo or mono: stereo

Wired or wireless: wired

If I were to get just a mic:

My old headset's mic crapped out (wiring got messed up). I already have a nice pair of earphones (Sennheiser CX500) which I currently use during games. If at all possible, I would prefer to buy a clip on mic or something that lets you use your own earphones. Of course, I've seen clip on mics, but the ones I've seen don't seem to have much quality.

Once again, I want a 3.5mm mic. Also, my budget for this is up to $40.

Hi there,

My setup is a Asus P5B-E board with a SATA HDD and an IDE samsung optical drive. I recently uninstalled XP 64-bit and installed XP 32-bit. After doing so, windows does not recognize my samsung drive (model #SH-S182D); I think it's the "unknown device" in device manager but I can't be sure because it can never seem to find the drivers through windows update. I've heard elsewhere that this has something to do with the JMicron controlle. What should I do?

What is a surefire and well-known method of checking the audio codec and bitrate of an audio file?

Hi, my foam headphone ear cushions smell like crap. How can I clean them? Is dipping them in isopropyl alcohol and air-drying okay?

Also, I have a pair of in-ear headphones and would like to clean the rubber tips. Is dipping the tips in isopropyl alcohol and air-drying okay?

Can you use a custom resolution if you use an HDMI cable like 1366x768?

If any old external usb 2.0 drive can be used tos tore live content, then I don't want a hard drive. Otherwise, I don't care if it comes with a hard drive or not (I can get one for $40).

Also, cotnrollers are EXPENSIVE. And you ahve to still by the battery packs. It comes out to about $200 for wireless controllers. Is there a cheaper way (without buying third-party controllers)? If the price cna't be brought down much, then I might just get wired only.

What part of "I'm already using my xbox 1 on my monitor and it wroks just fine" do you not understand? I don't want to buy a 360.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824254020

That is my monitor that I am currently using. As you can see it has a DVI->component adapter. DVI is a misnomer. While DVI-D only has digital pins, DVI-I devices like my monitor have both analog and digital pins. The xbox is connecting the monitor via the analog pins.

Now stop saying that's not possible, because I am clearly doing it right now.
