I like an objective review myself, because it helps me decide what i spend my money on. Look at movie reviewers, the consistently subjective reviewers don't last long in the industry.
BTW, i didnt play the game, i read the synopsis on wiki. It was 3 paragraphs. It's an interactive story. The vote is in, it's settled. It's a book with graphics. Step forward? Maybe. One of the top 5 greatest games ever made for PC? ... .... ...
@Droverson I sort of agree with the others here. The rating system isn't genre specific.... or is it?
I mean, if a company brought out the best kitten murdering game, does that grant it an automatic 9?
i thought the scores were spread out across all genres, and meant to indicate, not the value of the game, be it 5, 10, 20 or 50 bucks (even though i hope they take this at least into account), but the... let's say awesomeness of the game. That's generally how it works with books and movies and such.
@poopinpat @DJ_KooPee U get 24 hours to apply, but u still have access to the game for 7 to 10 days while the application is pending. That's at least how I understood it. They cut u off after they approve the refund.
Edit: I re-read, yes they cut u off as soon as u apply. Other way would be way too easy to exploit i guess
@xolivierx Wow, do you actually LIKE anything? I am not into anything you mentioned there (with a few exceptions), but I don't go on about it. I have a few friends like you, and they are cynical bastards. And if we don't put a stop to the cynical bastards, they will turn into full blown zealots. @DITRICH Why all the hate? Max_1111 beautifully parried your arguments, and you just laugh it off, offering nothing substantial to rebut. As for your last comment, show me one company that isn't driven by the dollar. Fortunately, not all games have gone the way of activision and EA. I still play League of Legends daily. I have over 700 wins, over 1200 games played, and you know what? I never spent a dime on it. In fact, I've been gifted an amount of the online currency just for not getting banned. It is yet another f2p game where money can only buy u cosmetic things, and it is IMPOSSIBLE to gain an edge over opponents just by spending money. I will give them money now because I choose to and because they have earned it. Not because they milk it out of me. If you ask me, you need to pull your head in and stop speaking generally when u don't know what you're talking about. @max_1111 +1 for every comment dude
