If all other games are running OK I would suspsect that since you have an older GPU you may need to find a driver that works well for that card on that game.

Other than that it could be a number of things. Have you checked to see if it's utilizing all cores of your CPU? Do you have any temp problems or artifacts?

Thank you so much for your reply. Other games run ok like, Skyrim, Stalker, and even Crysis. I can play MP3 for about 3-5 min. (with ok framerate and no artifacts) and then my PC turns off. I don't know how to check the cpu while the game is running but I touch the side panel of my case (where the cpu is) to check if it overheats but it doesn't seem so. I'll try to find another driver that might work with MP3. Thanks.

Why does my pc crashes after 3 to 5 minutes? My specs. are: Q6600 2.4GHZ., 9600 gt (301.42 driver), 2gig ram. Iput the settings on lowest and still the game crashes and my computer turns off. I'd appreciate your help on this. Thanks.

Thanks guys for your input. It looks like the 22" is the ideal size. I'll go for it together with my video card upgrade, probably a GTX 275. Currently, I'm using 9600GT which I think won't run demanding games smoothly using a 22" monitor.

but what would u find more realistic? GodlessSinner
Of course the 5.1 if you have a very good sound card and great speakers that support EAX. The sound really goes around your room at various places.

It depends. At night I prefer using my surround headphones. But on daytime I indulge with my 5.1 speakers.

Thanks for your replies guys. I feel it's my DVD rom drive. The read speed maybe. Or maybe there was something wrong with the DVD rom drive installation. I had it installed in the shop where I bought it and the guy who installed looked suspicious. But I'm not sure though.

I installed the game on my Seagate 500gig sata hdd. It's almost full, about 50 gig free space left. Could it be the reason why the installation took so long?

The installation has just finished. I'm using Windows XP, I have 2gig ram, Intel Q6600, Nvidia 9600GT. Looks strange isn't it? It took so long to install it.
