The European one definitely; I have this one since I'm British. The Japanese is similar but more subtle yes, and the cases are are smaller since a lot of Japanese people live in smaller accomodation.

my first FF is FFVIII and i loved it, except for the part when i first summoned shiva.....i was like omg shes naked!!!!(im 11 at that time).....i was like scared to summon her when my parents were around coz they might say the game is pornographic and theyll throw it away, lol..
lol yeah. I also played VIII for the first time when I was around 10 or so and it came as a shock. It sounds really silly now, as its not bad at-all, but whenever I was in a battle and my parents were in the room, I would ask them to get me a drink or generally try to distract them. lol...quite sad really :lol:
For me, the characters of VI are the most memorable. Kefka in my view was the most effective villian and each character was well developed and had a distinct personality.
VII comes close behind though and I can understand people saying its the best. However, unlike VI, not ALL ofthe charactersare as memorable in my opinion.
Yeah, I love the minimalist style. They definitely look noice and orderly when stacked together, and they also make a change from most other cases that simply show the main character holding a machine gun.
They should take some lesons from the Japanese, as they really care about the presentation of the game and some of the artwork can be worthy of a purchase alone.
My favourite is probably Aria De Mezzo Caratere (or something like that:?) from the opera section in FFVI. It's very similar to Aerith's theme, but better in my opinion.
You're Not Alone! (FFIX), To Zanarkand and that Fisherman's Horizon one come close though.
