The Greatest Final Fantasy Battle

ok, this is a thread where you advertise the qualities of your favourite FF, a thread where you can argue to your hearts content why your FF is the best....

for example i could argue that FFIX has the most memorable characters, from the top of my head; freya, vivi, dagger, eiko, amarant, zidane, quina.... you could argue back that you can recal those FFX characters more clearly, i could argue back to that that FFX is a much more recent game so its easier to remember

or you could say something like FFVII girls are hotter or something, do as you wish

I think Final Fantasy IX had the best characters because there were so many personalities.

Like Zidane being a jokester and Steiner being way too serious, so they always argue.

For me, the characters of VI are the most memorable. Kefka in my view was the most effective villian and each character was well developed and had a distinct personality.

VII comes close behind though and I can understand people saying its the best. However, unlike VI, not ALL ofthe charactersare as memorable in my opinion.

I believe the Final Fantasy IV characters are the greatest, so many of them are a mystery thoughout the whole game, you don't know who truly is the enemy until the very end.

And I wish Sephiroth would finally die, get run over by a bus or something, never see him again, I'm sorry, I do not like him.

in the mid generation, and FFVI alot of emphasis was put into exploring (hopefully FFXII will be the same) and it got better with every game, untill FFIX. It then stopped because FFX had a different approach to travelling (way to linear for me), FFX-2 just teleported you to new places

i advertise that i kill between 9 to 5, so there is the whole deal of killing in broad daylight, im pretty sure that this opens up a whole new market for me

besides at least 50 % of the market is jobs for assassinating you and i dont think you can do that now do you?

i could argue FF1 started it all and is the most original game in all the series, but then again IMO it really sucked

i find the FFVII characters were the most memorable for me

in particular: cloud (massive sword, main character, an unlikely hero considering his past), tifa (plays a significant part in the story and cloud's past), barret (how much swearing?), aeris (adds alot to the storyline), vincent (transformations into various powerful beasts), yuffie (the theif), sephiroth (supposedly invincible, also he has a murasame: ownage weapon), red XIII (another intersting character), cait sith (an..odd..inclusion)

that's all i can think of off the top of my head atm...
