@xche78x @damian1977 It doesn't matter if they are laggy. I bet the majority of laptops are just as laggy. Like those cheap HP's at best buy that retail for $349. Unless you are a gamer, designer or developer than you probably have cheap laggy equipment period. And since most people on here are gamers, they should have semi-tanked out rigs, lappys or at least a decent tablet.

@sun4o_666 Unfortunately then you will soon be in the minority. Many websites are moving toward responsive design. The tablet market growing fast.

A total of 227.3 million tablets should reach consumers in 2013, compared to 134.4 million desktop PCs and 180.9 million laptops.

Tablet sales are exploding. The expected total growth rate for tablets over the next four years is expected to be 78.9 percent.

Even my 4 year old niece is already using an iPad and will probably be far more efficient with that, than a PC. Its generational and evolutionary and we are no longer the next generation.

@LADIES_MAN_2013 @damian1977 Yeah but I remember when people complained about the new IGN look too. I actually do like the IGN look better, but I like that GS is finally evolving.

@m8705 I'm on Chrome for Mac OS and it seems to be working fine for now. Also working in Safari. The only thing loading slow for me is the list of comments. And its really not slow. Just visibly refreshing and shifting the page up and down.

I work for a company that does online support and I've learned that most of the people (Not all) that complain about change are the ones that don't even bother to explore it a bit. I'm sure the new design will be an evolution based on feedback and usage, but for cryin out loud its not that hard to find stuff on here. Maybe people are looking for things that I don't typically look for from Gamespot, but what I need I had no problem finding. People complained about IGN's redesign too. I think some people just don't like change.

@depman1972 @Scorchstar To find new releases, just click on "Games", select your platform and then it will smack you in the face from the middle of the page. :p

@PowerDingALing @damian1977 Real mature. Not even worth this much of a response.

@jonmar @damian1977 Compared to the old design, the new one is far less cluttered than the old one. I didn't say it was minimal. I said minimalist. As in practicing minimalism. For the amount of content that needs to be posted its fairly minimalistic compared to the previous design. Also I don't know what content some people are having a hard time finding, but so far I haven't had any problems finding what I wanted.Reviews being the biggest asset are pretty straight forward and finding games based on their platform is also pretty easy to find under the not so difficult item labeled... Wait for it... Games. News and video categories are easily located as well. Based on the way you guys are reacting really just says one thing. Trolling. If you don't like the design or layout or any other aspect of the site, then why not try making some positive suggestions. Never-mind. I think we all know why.Edit (in 3 minutes)

I'm loving the minimalist responsive design. I like seeing that more sites are moving to the responsive 960 grid system. Its so much better than resorting to mobile versions of sites and the use of negative space in a minimalist design is so much more appealing. I guess its not for everyone, but with so many sites moving to this design concept, it must be acceptable to the majority of people out there. Can't please everyone. Also digging the sticky header. Good job gamespot. BTW, need any new designers on your team? hint hint. Wink wink.
