Doesn't seem to resolve Time Trial record exploits on the same maps the patch is meant to fix. You can't play online from May 16th and onwards until you download the patch but Time Trial is considered offline with records that update online. Patches like these should be mandatory to play both Time Trial and online.

I thought FF13 was above average, but incomparable with the rest before it. I understand if they couldn't make it as big as the PS1 era Final Fantasies with current technologies, but thats no excuse to turn the majority of the game into one long hallway with a boss followed by a cutscene at the end when FF10 had a great balance of linearity, storytelling, puzzles, sidequests that didn't involve killing monsters 100% of the time, CGI cutscenes and gameplay. In my opinion, if you have a linear RPG, FF10 is as far as you could go without crossing the line.

Oh, and Masashi Hamauzu is 100 years too early to compare with Nobuo Uematsu. Uematsu's compositions have the capability to turn an above average story into something incredible. He is that good ^0^/ .....please compose for the next Final Fantasy _ _ ;

Whatever form Mario takes on the Wii U is going to be incredible whether its another Galaxy or not, so I'm not worried. But I would like another Muramasa!

I think remakes are just as important as new and original games. There is a generation of potential gamers that have yet to experience the games we have and if that gives developers enough reason to create the next Majora's Mask 3D with Master Quest included like they did with OoT 3D, I fully support it.

1. More items that work seamlessly with the environments surrounding the game, such as the leaf in Windwaker and the remote bug in Skyward Sword. There shouldn't be a reason to limit items like these to one per Zelda (i.e. Windwaker's Leaf), let alone not including such an item at all in a few others such as Twilight Princess. This encourages exploration, instead of having large environments just for the sake of it.

2. New mechanics to the game, the same formula is getting a little old. I think they need to take a Majora's Mask approach to the next installment, meaning something that is different enough from the conventional Zeldas we've come to expect.

3. More character interaction. I feel they got the introduction to Skyward Sword right with many of its characters, but it became a bit boring after
Zelda disappeared. There was little to no interaction with Zelda and the others during the main quest until way later.
Up until that point though, it felt like a story with potential that had color to it instead of continuously introducing us to new characters that send us on 1000 fetch quests as soon as we encounter them.

4. An active world filled with events. It feels like Windwaker and Majora's Mask were the last Zeldas to achieve this. They can draw the line somewhere in between.

5. I hope the Wii U version makes very good use of the tablet controller in many unique ways that show third parties what the system is capable of. For example, most people already know the tablet can be used as a map along with fluid inventory management. Nintendo needs to go beyond that.

Might be too much to ask for, but this franchise is becoming a bit dull because they are playing it too safe by re-using the same formula with just enough new features to call it a new game. I loved Skyward Sword's controls, but it felt like that was the only new feature that seperated it from what I haven't already seen before.

I'm looking forward to it. Sony really needs strong first party titles like this (hopefully) for their Vita.

If Hatsune Miku is going to take over the world, does that mean she can single-handedly save the Vita?

Eponique

Only if she wants to! Because she also appeared on the 3DS
