As mentioned already BG and BG2 were AD&D 2nd Edition not 3.5 and also BioWare did not make them, Black Isle did who are now mostly Obsidian. BioWare made Neverwinter Nights. Now this brings me to thinking the people making this might not actually have much knowledge of the BG games at all, which is worrying. I'll be waiting to see progress as time goes on, but right now I guess it can't be worse than Dragonspear, right? RIGHT?
So you can't really say this review is for all 4 systems since the review is based solely on the new gens and the 360 and ps3 was played later. Also, the Xbxo One version runs a lot better and has no frame rate issues and actually renders some other aspects better than the PS4. This was based on a side by side comparison of the two.
@xDARKGUITARISTx Yeah, I agree completely. The PS4 might look a bit better, but the performance on Xbox One is better and performance>graphics any day.
@Arcturuss You obviously don't love Deadpool otherwise you would realize the game is written by the same guy who writes the comics. They get Deadpool. You obviously do not.
Great fucking game. McShea is not the person to review this game. He is obviously not a Deadpool fan. It is loads of fun from start to finish. Has no camera or combat problems. So what if it repetitive. Most classic games are. This is a MUST pick-up for any Deadpool fan ro any fan of classic beat-em-ups.
If you do not want to pick up this game then you have no right to say you are an RPG fan of any type. This game is what set the standard for PC RPG gaming. Not only are they enhancing BG and BG2, but if they sell well enough they will be enhancing Icewind Dale 1 and 2 and Planescape Torment. The best part of all is if these all do well enough they will be making a sequel to Planescape. Please people support this game. It's only $20. I want the damn sequel!
