Nintendo will do everything in its power to try and get Zelda into the Holiday 2014 lineup so it can be a sort of system seller in the face of the Xbox3/PS4. Hopefully they won't rush it to meet such a deadline though.
I'm looking at spending $200-300 on an HDTV this year and am having a hard time deciding which Television to fight for in the wave of new BF deals. I would like to have 40-42in to satisfy my ego and make me the envy of my college hallmates, but I also want a quality set to game on. Since so many of the details of these derivative models and some of the online prices are still in secrecy, I am unsure of how to approach this exactly.
What do you all think? Should I shoot for Best Buy's $199 42in Sharp TV, be more conservative and get a higher quality 32in LCD or LED set, or go all out and try to get the $298 46in Westinghouse at Target? Or are there other, better deals out that I should be looking at?
I don't know how much they sell, but obviously they do sell quite well. Alot of the lemmings on here say that Sony is selling at a loss which isn't the case at all, if it were they would have axed it. The PS3 fat model was sold at a loss and what did they do? They axed it of course and then they brought out PS3 Slim and that's been making them profit, if it weren't then they would have axed it aswell. Obviously it's doing pretty well considering how they both had a price drop but PS3 is still more expensive than 360, and that's because it's in more demand, people are willing to pay more for PS3 than they are for a 360 because PS3 is in more demand. People that think otherwise have no business sense or understanding of markets. It's econmics 101 folks.....
But I don't really care about how much they sell because it doesn't affect me since I don't own any shares with these businesses.
lol I find it funny how alot of fanboys know so much about how much a giant corporation makes, yet if you ask them about the national debt they don't have a clue :lol:

Sure, the base PS3 model is more than the basic 360, but the premium 360 and Kinect bundles are all more than the $250 PS3 and the 360 is outselling PS3 in the US. The 360 likely has more "demand" in the states in this scenario.
Why should MS care about this? Even if the consoles are dead-even in worldwide sales, MS makes a larger profit on hardware and makes way,way, WAY more on software purchases and XBL subscription fees.
