I couldn't agree. The level of violence on display is beginning to feel insulting, like developers think we no longer care about fun and good stories, and instead want simulated murder.

I've never been a Nintendo man. They've never quite scratched my gaming itch, for whatever reason. But, well, when it games to the concept of gaming with loved ones as opposed to gaming with strangers in an online celebration of violence, they really do understand that it isn't super-graphics or ultra-violence that makes a game, but just good old fashioned fun.

So if we're playing single player, then they don't shove an AI partner down our throats in place of a co-op partner? Great. Still doesn't make up for the setting and action focus, but great.

Well, damn, That actually looks really good. Graphics look better, gameplay looks more fun, and for a bit there, I forgot I was watching a COD demo and was getting really into it. Nice job, Treyarch.

Its nice to see they're at least done pretending this is a horror game. Also, co-op? First you shoe-horned a crappy multiplayer into 2 (after removing what little horror you had) and now you're ruining the campaign as well? I just don't see the point of this one.

@shadowhunter0 that sounds more like a fanboy complaint to me. I love the game. I love it a lot. But i respect that he has a different opinion. Accusing someone of making excuses for not being good at games is simply juvenile. Do I think the score is off? Yes. But again, its his opinion and I respect that. it doesn't dampen the game for me in the slightest. Besides, he still likes it.

Don't understand why so many gamers take reviews as law. They're someone else's opinion. They aren't meant to be the final word on a game's quality, just how the person feels about the game, same as if I told you my opinion. The only difference is that its his job. And i know, it takes work to become a journalist, but that doesn't make critics any more insightful to how I personally will enjoy the game. They're still simply stating their opinions.

Why can't we just acknowledge a game's quality based on our actual opinion as opposed to whether or not we think someone is "deranged" simply for their choice of platform? The same could be said for XBox fanboys with Halo and PC gamers with Diablo. You can't even use good grammar. What the hell does "every superior games out there" mean? And "for saying this game 'generic' =P." I feel dumber just for bothering to read your comment.
