I know I'm kinda late to this post but its your cpu that's limiting your frames in Dragon Age not your pcie 8x. I had a Phenom II 940 quad core clocked at 3.5 ghz and an overclocked 260 gtx and I was still getting slow down in the denim marketplace. It was only when I switched to a I5 750 overclocked to 3.8ghz where that area became extremely smooth. Dragon Age isn't very gpu intensive but it needs a beast of a cpu to keep the frames up in some areas.

I highly doubt Sony makes money off the repairs. They ship the box to you UPS 2nd day air (about $30) with an overnight label (about $120) to ship back. Then they ship the system back to you 2nd day air ($60). I'm sure Sony gets a corporate discount but it still must be costing them crazy money just on shipping. They should just lower the price of the repairs and ship everything el cheapo Ground like MS does.

Yeah looks like someone popped in their broken one, took the new one. I thought Walmart checked for stuff like this ( I know Target does) but I guess some workers don't. BTW this is why I'm shocked that Sony and Microsoft don't use factory seals on the system boxes anymore. They just slap a generic round clear sticker to seal the systems. With some search you can find those stickers online. BTW next time shop at Amazon. No tax, free shipping and they always take care of me when I have a problem.

If you do a complete backup with an external drive (must be formatted in fat otherwise the PS3 won't recognize it) before upgrading you definitely won't lose any dled games, demos, videos, music, and pictures. Sorry don't know about trophies, I upgraded my hdd before they were around.

Highly doubtful. Sega Sammy's Market Cap is still around $2.7 billion. Which means MS would probably have to offer $3.5 Billion and up for it. They weren't even willing to make an offer on Take Two at around $2 billion. And unless MS can talk Sega Sammy to sell only the Sega part what the heck is MS going to do with a Pachiko Machine company?(Sammy's main business).

Its just a coincidence. IGN had not given out a 10 in 7 years and they gave out 2 in 2 months. Only other game I can see maybe getting another 10 this year is Littlebigplanet for its innovation.
