@WolfGrey Looking at it as an MMO does it absolutely no favors either. Grouping = a hinderance. "Single-player and multiplayer aspects constantly clash, disrupting immersion" He hit the nail directly on the head there. AN MMO where almost 100% of any interaction with anyone else is a pain in the ass. I have played everything under the sun as far as MMO games wow , rift, aion , realm reborn , gw2 , star wars , lord of the rings , jesus even everquest and this looked at as strictly a comparison to every other mmo is still no better than mediocre sadly. 85 hours into it as of right now. Won't be resubbing.
@balrogbane @cpenney25 From those who honestly believe in its current state its anything above mediocre to bad. Which I am not pleased about myself i spent a lot of money on the imperial edition.
@plcox02 I have played MMO's for the better part of 10 years and have loved Elder scrolls games almost religously over 200 hours into oblivion and skyrim on my steam account. And right from the beginning wanted this game to be perfect but after sinking 85 hours+ into it I agree 100% with this review and most of the criticism it's been receiving.
@clynch0527 Because DOA isn't big enough for him to get extra buzz going from even if he did say anything about it. MGS on the other hand has been around for a long time and i guess he feels we as gamers shouldnt be man babies who enjoy boobs instead we have to be man babies who enjoy space ships and powerangers + the esport tryhard no life 12 year old pro gamer type games that they develop.
@mikemaj82 I picked up the 80 gig ps3 on release day along with 4 other friends, None of us had ours for longer than 2 months before the blu ray drive shot in it. They became simply paper weights. Unable to read discs, Not to mention how hard Sony was to deal with when it came to customer service calling in to have them repaired compared to Microsoft at the time.It got to the point where after having it refurbished so many times i gave up on it and the warranty ran up and they wanted 100 usd after to fix the problem so i went out and just bought a 120 gig slim. It was an utter joke.None of my consoles see poor care either unless playing it too much falls into that category? I still have a working nes , snes , n64, and atari but couldnt keep a ps3 or xbox 360 to save my life.
el oh el ....... Seriously though I am gonna be avoiding both consoles at release this time like they are the black plague , if it goes anything like the first ps3 and xbox 360 I had at release it'll involve 6-7 more returns to get refurbished all over again. So instead of making claims on how superior the tech is gonna be compared to PC id much rather be hearing how solid there crap is gonna be on release day this time or something along those lines.
