I can't believe that you didn't include the best ever gaming system of all time in your poll, DREAMCAST! What's up with that? :p

I'm totally stoked about this game. I've been a big square fan since chrono trigger. ANNNNNNNND I'm a huge "rated M for Mature" fan because cussing and gore rule. oh, and sex. whatever.

There are girls on PSN - it's just that they are getting smart enough to know it's best not to bother with a head set. I have never, ever, been on PSN or XBL in a game or lobby that included a girl (and yes, I have been in a few on both) that did not almost immediately degenerate in to some hopelessly geeky or obnoxious twerp verbally assaulting her with either yawn inducing and pathetic repeated attempts at "hitting on" her, or thinking that a girl's presence was an open invitation to their new comedy act that seemed to involve saying every horrible thing they would never, ever say to any female of any age in person. Honestly, I can't think of a single reason why a girl gamer would WANT to talk or identify themselves as such. It's sad, but true in my opinion. I think the only exceptions to this are persistent gaming worlds where the same players continually wind up meeting and spending time together, so over time a female gamer could get a sense if a player they keep meeting is a jerk or not. I think this is why you hear about stories of people meeting and getting married because of Wow or Second Life etc but really never hear the same about games being played on XBL or PSN.albatrossdrums
Exactly. I actually changed my bio info on both XBL and PSN to "i'm married, go away" it is just easier that way even if I'm not married. And when my headsets have broken, I've never rushed to get new ones.

This feels like an attention thread to me. "look at me, look at me, i'm a girl and i game, heh" Of the chicks that game, lots of them have PS3s, but for the most part the chicks that I come across that game don't play FPS and a lot of us don't bother to voice chat bc we know that the 13 year old boys will be beavis and butthead chuckling. Also, a lot of chicks like to claim that mmorpging is gaming and so they play on the lame-o PC and/or ds. My two cents.
