My go has a dead pixel at the top left, it's faint and only noticeable in dark/black color(s). I'm thinking of returning it to gamespot and replacing it. You guys think I should?
I'm getting choppy framerates with Oblivion on max settings. My rig isn't like ZOMFG EPIC, but I would think it's more then good enough to play Oblivion on max. I got a Geforce 9800 GTX... I think the only downside for me is that I'm running on 3gigs of RAM and a 3/4 full HD of 250gbs. What can cause choppy fps other than GFX card? Thanks for the help. EDIT: Forgot to mention I got a quad core.
I'm upgrading my mother board, which is possibly the best thing I'll ever do for my PC since I'm going from a crappy unusual MOBO that I got from my HP. I'm not all that savvy with motherboards, for instance I don't know how the Themon/Athlon/Sempon CPU types differ. So I need help picking between a couple of Motherboards(Links below). Also can someone explain to me the tools needed to install it? The heatsink stuff kind of confuses me, and do I have to upgrade my processor or something? I got a quad core from my previous PC and I would be mortified if I had to go out and purchase another one. I skim through tutorials on the Internet, but I'd like to get an idea at common mistakes and not so common facts that I should know about. Thanks guys! I got a spare $200 to burn and I thought about upgrading my PC from a (Geforce 9800 GTX) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130376 to a (GeForce GTX 260) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130433 The only upgrade I see worth buying for is the additional processor cores, but I don't know much so that's why I'm here. I know on the Xbox Dashboard, go to you little signed in block with your avatar. Then Manage Profile or Account or something, and then go to Change WIndows LIVE ID.b2trumpet

I need to change the email address currently associated with my live account. Does anyone know how to change the log in info, and not just the contact info? Support page says go to "Manage Account" which apparently doesn't exist as there is "My Account" and "Manage Profile" neither of which I can find the "change windows live ID" option. Thanks for the help :D
My 360 is coming up saying that my network doesn't have sufficient MTU setting and that I have to fix it through configuring my wireless router. Okay, here's the problem - I call BS because pre-NXE it worked fine, and another problem is I have no clue how to access my configuration through the website, since the ip link the manufacturer gave me is crap. Where do I go from here? Should I return my wireless adapter that I got only a week ago and buy a ethernet cable, or is this a common problem amongst the NXE update?
I was testing my surround sound on my PS3 and noticed that the keytone when scrolling the menu seemed to play in every speaker. While playing GTA IV during cut scenes I could hear slightly the cut scene being played in my rear speakers (GTA was selected to play in surround sound too." My PS3 is hooked up by optical cable as well, and is set to output on it. Am I over reacting or is this not really surround sound?
