You've got some good tips in there, though I wish you hadn't told people not to try and melee attack armor locked enemies, because those are my favorite players to take advantage of when I'm using armor lock :P

To improve readability, I suggest you run a spell check program and proofread a bit more carefully, because there are some spelling errors that make it a bit tougher to read. For example, the plural of "ability" is "abilities".

Thanks for sharing!

I was thinking about possibilities for new RDR DLC as I roamed around Blackwater the other day. I walked out on the pier to watch the sun rise as I waited for the merchants to open up shop, and noticed the advertisements to take a ride on a riverboat. It struck me that some new DLC involving a classy gambling tournament on a riverboat could be pretty fun, Maverick-style.

You'd have to get the right outfits and finagle an invite, either through favors, violence, or cold hard cash. Once on the boat you'd gamble and socialize, meeting up with strangers and getting involved in various intrigues. Maybe the boat would run aground somewhere, allowing you to get off and ride your horse for a while as you tried to help get the boat back on the river.

Though it may never be, it still seems pretty cool in my imagination.:)

Problems that can be expressed as AX^2 + BX + C = 0, where A, B, and C are constants are quadratic problems that can be solved using the quadratic formula. Or by factoring as ColonelWilks adeptly demonstrated.

In your example, A = 1, B = -1, and C = -20.

I was wandering the wastes and came upon a small cluster of buildings with a water tower. Atop the water tower was a raider just taking potshots at radscorpions. Here is this dude in the middle of nowhere, all alone, shooting creatures that are no threat to him with his crappy hunting rifle. I could see that there was no way for me to ascend the water tower, so before he sees me, I fire off a rocket at him in VATS. Now, I'm pretty crap with rocket launchers, so the rocket sails by about four feet in front of his face. Can you imagine just minding your own business, and all of the sudden a rocket screams by your face?

I'm already laughing when I hear that unmistakeable twang and see The Mysterious Stranger appear on the water tower next to this poor sap and blast him in the gut. Thinking of that small sequence of events from the raider's perspective gets me every time.

Alan Wake gave me kind of a Canadian vibe, but I guess it takes place just south of the border in Washington.

I use it, but a lot of folks around the office don't, so I often have to search for them when I play games. I find it more comfortable - a nice change from the hard plastic things I hold all the time.

I remember passing being very hard in that game. Pitching to Barry Sanders = instant win.

The thing that gets me about Resident Evil is the fixed camera angles. Not being able to look in a direction and see what's over there creates a great/terrifying sense of claustrophobia. I still remember opening a door and then appearing on the other side with my character facing the screen -- "Oh god oh god what am I looking at?!"

I think it's great! Haven't played in a while though. If you want more info, take a gander at the GameSpot review I wrote.
