@Graphixx Have you read the written review? They always go more in-depth, and I think it might help flesh out some things you feel are missing from the video review.
@PayneKiller Good point about Survival Mode. I dunno, I feel like "horde mode" has become one of those terms that refers to the general idea rather than the mode from the specific games, kind of like saying "xerox" for "photocopy" or "band-aid" for "adhesive bandage."
@Reaverking There's not such thing as "knocking points off," because games don't start with a perfect score. I suggest reading the "About the ratings system" link below the review score for more information about how GameSpot reviews games.
@Black_dragon55 Games don't start with a perfect 10 and get points subtracted. Check out the "About the ratings system" link below the review score for more information about how GameSpot reviews games.
@mdboomer I might have said this before in this or the review thread, but yeah, I totally had a good time playing it! It's a very good game. A lack of serious negatives isn't enough to push the score higher, though, and not all praise is created equal. There's a big difference between "good" and "great," or "satisfying" and "thrilling."
@TheGuardian03 Hehe, I do sometimes get a bit of shooter fatigue, but I'm playing the Witcher 2 at home right now, so that keeps my shooter stamina fresh :)
@BelaidKL Just because you don't see a lot of negatives, doesn't mean the game automatically qualifies for a higher score. I suggest reading this review again and comparing the praise to that of BF3 or MW3. Not all praise is created equal, so though this review isn't negative (It is, as @ERoBB said, a good score), this review is less positive than those for other, better games.
