The possibility of hardware failure is very high in comparison to other consumer electronics (3-5% of units are defective), so the answer to the original question is "not long enough". I'm on my second machine. Most people I know are the same or worse. At least MS extended the warranty to three years. Shame it detracts from the great games available on the system.

Mine just broke. I'm peeved that I have to package it myself - thought they sent a box out to you. Waiting for an email with the shipping label, then I've got to arrange for shipping via UPS. Is this what happens to everyone else? I've got an extended warranty - purchased it just prior to original warranty expiring - thought this would make things easier. Shoddy shoddy shoddy microsoft. Typical that this happens just when the bioshock demo comes out.

If Molyneux can pull off the combat then it has the potential to be a good game and I'm encouraged by some of the stuff he said in the E3 interview. But we've got at least a year to wait until release. In the meantime, games like Assassins Creed and Splinter Cell 5 seem to be doing some interesting stuff with combat. SC5 seems to be using context-based combat, and I'm sure this trend wiill continue, so its a question of whether Fable 2 will be old news by the time it is released a year form now.

I think a lot of the mystery surrounding the game has been dispelled by the explanatory videos and gameplay footage they released. There are at least two really long videos, which are basically huge spoilers. This is bound to drain some of the hype. The less people know about the game, the more hyped they get about it. Look at GTA for your obvious example.

Ditto. Seems a bit pointless. It has no functionality as far as I can tell. You can't even send an email.

In response to willpd123 's post - That's interesting, I didn't even realise some games already did this. In which case, its a no-brainer. Rockstar should quit moaning and make it compulsory.

The needs of the majority outweight the minority, so I would say yes. Considering a HDD was included with the original XBox as standard, it seemed like an insane move not to include one with their "next gen" system. If hard drives were made madatory for some games, MS could counteract the consumer backlash by massively reducing the cost of the hard drives, which when you consider the cost of PC hard drives, probably wouldn't cause them that much hardship.

I expect the movie will be as bad as the game. When was the last time a third movie sequel was any good?

YOU know how kavatch never rebiuldt two worlds towns will rebiulds during attacks cool.crosis420
That's pretty awesome. Its really annoying in TESO how fires just keep burning forever and bodies lie around after months of in game-time. You can't fault the other aspects of persistence in Oblivion (how objects stay how you leave them in houses etc) but there is always room for improvement. Among other things, this is what I'm hoping for from Two Worlds. Its all in the detail.
