i think i read somewhere that they cut 2 dungeons, 1 of the first half, and 1 of the second half.

The first deleted dungeon would had given you one of the magic orbs, instead, they just had Jabu giving it to you. The second dungeon deleted was replaced with the triforce fetch quest.

I forgot the name of the dragon (is is Kratos?) you have to fight right before you go down to fight Metroid Prime...that was the hardest thing for me. I beat him in one try but it took me a half hour. I had every powerup possible, and I had only 4 health left on my last container when I scored a lucky missle and finished him off.

Ridley, well, Meta Ridley, heh, i dont think he was THAT difficult, it is an enjoyable fight.

Yes, both Prime 1 and 2 have a hard mode.

advance wars is ok. but just not really what Iam looking for..still a bit (my opinion) childish and nothing like having cities etc to build, que whatever armies in...don't know if you ever played europa universalis or total war series..but already the campain maps only by far have so much more depth in them...evenafvegen
dude, its a handheld. Advance Wars, age of empires, battles of prince of perisa, FF Tactics, all of them are good. If you want a PC experience.....then go to the PC.

well, if you people want to get technical, metroid prime is indeed a character, he is the final boss of the game, and its name is "metroid prime". but yea, i think you meant Samus.

1. I was wondering if it was worth paying 50$ us on ebay to get those two games?

for both of them?? mhh, i would say yes.

2. Will I be as satisfied as when I played RE4?

hard to say, the gameplay is very different, they are a lot less in the action department and more on the survival and puzzle aspects.

3. Are there any differences between the original versions of the games and the Player's Choice editions?

i dont think so.

4. Is the gameplay really that different (I read the controls are clunky)?

the gameplay is indeed different, read the reviews and watch some videos so you  can get an idea of  what you are getting into.

No, the controls are not clunky, in fact, they are the same for every RE game, minus some moves in some versions, the difference is in the camera, you see, in past RE games the camera is static while in RE4 it is dinamic.

[QUOTE="summer_star17x"] I wasted about half hour of my life trying to beat the first boss.

im sorry man, but i think you just suck, that boss doesnt take more than 5 minutes to kill(if you are talking about the parasite queen). i think the problem is that people without any previous metroid experience look at Prime and think "hey, looks like halo, but on the GC!!", and then they find out that the game is something else. its an incredible game man, its just not what you expected, this is an adventure game, not a shooter.

[QUOTE="Crucifix_Angel"]First things first, Metroid Prime is not a shooter game it's an action/adventure game. To answer you question, Metroid Prime is a great game because it has excellent level design, character design, sound, and gameplay.CheeseRa

Of course it's an FPS. You shoot a lot of things with a projectile weapon. Plus, you're in first-person.

The whole "first-person adventure" crap is just pretentious.

no, its not.

the Metroid gameplay is pretty much "Zelda....in the future!!"

It doesnt behave like a FPS, it has priority on exploration, puzzle solving and platforming, it has an open ended world, not broken into "levels" or "missions", in a way its not a "corridor shooter2 like most FPS are.

Did you gave him the book? well, if he already has the book, as in, you started the sub quest at the help board thingy, then it should be no problem, he asks you for 1 ingredient and then asks if you want to use another one.
