@patsfan365: If it had been released for much cheaper like a Telltale game, I think it would have been better received. But a 5 hour interactive movie for $60 is just asking for criticism.
@battlestreak: I think @nadsat-77 is just retarded. In the past couple of months, we've got Dark Souls 3, Hitman, Ratchet & Clank, Doom, Uncharted 4, and Total War: Warhammer. In comparison, the only big multiplayer games were Battleborn and Overwatch. Actually, Battleborn wasn't even that great and it's already been dropped in price as people are forgetting about it.
@dexda: You have to look at CoD like you would look at something like a sports game or fighting game. It's so established in its mechanics that if it changed too much, it simply wouldn't be the same franchise anymore.
Seems like you just can't win with gamers. People have been saying forever that CoD is stale and needs to change. Now they just want more of the modern military setting, and a remaster of an old game at that. Sure, MW1 is probably the best CoD game and and it sucks they won't sell it separately, but at the end of the day, Infinite Warfare will still sell millions of copies and the only people still crying will be the whiners.
