i bet your taste is even worse, sitting there playing MinCraft, Journey, Call of Duty or only sticking to online game play - and if you play like that

You know nothing about my age. Ive been into games and it dates back before NES! As for my games likes, i have always had an AWESOME taste for good games that has everything that i need! it is NOT my fault that you guys do NOT appreciate the true nature that is RE. instead of being stuck in that horrific first game that could have been alot better!

I do appreciate the refrence in the headline, but this genre is NOT rotting! I like the trailer for the new game, but if this is Infamous with Zoombies - as that is what it looks like, well it could work but still the other games in this genre is still AWESOME! .... Peeps are looking to much waaay in the past when they talk zombie genre and everyone is sooo hooked up on Resident Evil 1... that game is NOT at all as everyone says.. i always think of Resident Evil 2 as the first game in the series because that is the best game on the PS1 console and is everything that RE1 never could be. (just like tekken 3 should have been tekken 1)... as for RE5 and 6. i love those games and there is NOTHING wrong with the "horror" in those games! Re5 and 6 are what RE series should be like on the new gen (now old),. so for me, the only thing that is rotting in his genre are the zombies and NOT the games! *more later
@RanY2J well critics ARE favouriting characters, that is THE whole problem!! the main reason why LAME games get way to high grades and good games doesnt get what they deserve.
and i am NOT talking ALL critics, i am talking about those who does NOT have any taste in games or movies what so ever. *more later.
A come on, the critics sure does not seem to be TRUE kratos fans like myself and "carnivalshow". they do NOT know what they speak of, what does the vengance has to do with anything? its just bullshit by gamereactor to give it an 8.
like all GOW games, i am sure and i bet my life on it that they all deserv a 10. (each). but that is what you get from critics that rather play starcraft or diablo or some other .... game. No critic has given Kratos justice, but myself. The whole game of kratos series is the man himself, the characters he meets, the storyline (past,present or future) and the amazing well made game. (to name a few things.
I have not played it yet. but i know i will like it just as much as the previous. and of course i am intressted to see how it all started, even though i thought they already made such a game, but then again it seems they have NOT. thus gives us Ascension.
If you are a true fan of kratos and his game series, you have played all the games and loved them each just as much. and not even if i want more then ever to get GOW4. (not sure that we will ever get part 4.) I am happy that kratos has yet another game out.
MY tips is that if you are a real kratos fan, do NOT listen to stupid critics reviews or grades... dont read anywhere.. just get the game, play it over and over and over again and judge for yourself.
Kratos rules, and there is NO critic that can get him down. But it seems like it is a season for lesser grade and reviews. as there are other games that has suffered the same faith as GOW: Ascension!
@cbrandao I love PS hardware. (i am 4ever a PS player) but come on. i like ompatibility as much as anyone, but we all know that compatibility of the PS3 titles ....well that will only last as long as ps3s compatibilty with ps2 games - when they once aga realize it somehow cost to much to let ps3 play ps2 games, but not ps1 games.
btw: there were alot of other ways to cut down cost of ps3, and STILL let it play psTWO games. *more later
Well, with the superbowl commercial they have shown us that they can bring Kratos to life. and like so many others, i also waited for movie(s) based on GOW games. But as the years goes by and more games come out, how will the movie really be like. We already know the Kratos story and that we do not know we will find out in Ascension
And remember just because writers suck, does NOT mean they will suck very time. Still i wonder, why arent they hiring the people behind the script of the GOW games to write the movie(s)? If anyone can write Kratos script, it is them.
I am not sure what went wrong with Clash&Wrath of the titans or Immortals. I have to say that "titans" are better then the immortals. and i guess it has to be the storyline. I first saw a teaser of immortals - i went WOW, this is how GOW should be like and after i seen the film i realzied ONCE again that the makers of the trailer are better at their job then the once behind the acctual film. if they are the same person(s) then those sure are better at making trailers then movies. Immortals was a huge fail, it could have been epic.
Well i say that take the best parts from "titans", immortals, 300 and even sparatcus (tv). and really go out on a limb to make the movie(s) as close to the games as possible; as it would be if it had been made in animation. Meaning, they should not ONLY hire the writers, but they should hire the director and who ever else is needed to from the game studio(s). if they can make awesome games, they sure will be able to pull off the same caliber movie(s), with the right help and budget.
@ShadowlordZer0 like i meant in previous posts: i am sure it will be fine! :) as long as they dont change to much of the control aspect,. it doesnt really matter to me what color his hair is. as long as i enjoy the game.... and in cas u need an example to know what i mean:
