Fallout 3 has some positive points, like V.A.T.S., but the fact that it's so open really makes you say "What's the point" and it gets tedious fast. Also, the atmosphere is really boring, especially compared to Dead Space. Far Cry 2 is beautiful, with addictive gun-play and a realistic feeling, but it's incredibly difficult (but that may just be me). I think it's completely fine to compare those games, not only because they're not THAT different but also because when you're comparing general quality, genre doesn't matter. The only question is which game is better. I've spent more time on Fallout 3 than Far Cry 2 but I still think I prefer the latter. However, I find it ridiculous to say that Fallout 3 is the game of the year, and there were only about 1000 votes between Fallout 3 and MGS4, which doesn't make sense. Fallout 3 has some faults, whereas MGS4 has none. Wow, got to calm down as well. Anyway, there were many better games than Fallout 3, imo, this year.

Oh, I also want to offer my sincere condolescences, zuma. I hope for the brightest future for your son.

To everyone who has been as cruel as to criticise his/her parenting, shame on you. Are you seriously stating that you, users on a pure gaming site, didn't play games much when you were kids. Computer gaming is more than just a simple waste of time as all you criticisers seem to be making it out as.

Once again, zuma, sorry for all these immature users. Good luck to you and your family.

Warioware: Touched is a good choice. My little sister loved that game when she was little (still does). Mario Kart is also a good game, and you could also try Mario Party DS.

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition. Simply put, it's awesome.

Well, really, gaming has changed, not necessarily in a bad way, but it has changed. I'm an RPG and platformer fan (primarily Crash and Spyro, which became only average after Sierra took on both projects) and big RPG's that are truly good (Star Ocean 2, FFX, FFXII, Kingdom Hearts series (technically action-rpg)) are few and far between. Those who are good are always as good, and age never hinders a true gamer. However, focus on special genres has expanded, for instance on shooters. Not saying they're bad, but for every good one, there are two only decent ones. Possibly, though, we felt a stronger sense of fascination for games, and our standards are rapidly climbing because of it. Game taste is also a factor, I am for example a rather open gamer, but others, like a friend of mine, are more focused on particular genres. Well, lets just hope we never stop loving games.:)

I don't see why so few people like the arcade. I feel it's more important than the multiplayer content.

I'm happy there's no voice chat. A lot of them are incredibly annoying.
