what made the transition to the ps3 "a greater and more fun experience"?

It might sound crazy to you, but the two prime reasons for me are:
1. Trophies 2. Controller
And wait, before you say the PC has it too ^^
That's right, and I also played the other AC games as well with KB&M as well as USB Controller on the PC (Ubisoft is awesome in the way they don't force you to use XBox-Controller ^___^ ), but with the PS3 Controller it STILL feels sooooo much better and just so right for me.
And about the Trophies, yeah, the PC Versions have those achievements too but there's not really a way of sharing them (well, there's UPlay, okay) but they kind of go under for me there, when they add to my PSN Trophy Level it's also more fun and on the PS3 that make me way more motivated to work towards them, going hand in hand that the controls with the PS3 Controller feel awesome.
And last but not least:
3. A thought also was, a high quality series like AC and Ubisoft just simply deserve it that I support them in that way...^^
You can actually use the PS3 controller by installingmotioninjoy. I also agree that the PS3 controller is the best out there, and that's why I use it for all my pc controller needs.

My advice, wait until a game that you feel the need to upgrade for, releases. Who knows, Watch Dogs might not be that demanding after all. Also, if you are planning to upgrade now, I think that the 8xxx series of ATI cards will release soon.
