As somebody who is on the fence for the next-gen, the only reason I'm waiting to get a new console is because of the games. I usually wait at least 18 months before I buy so there's a small library of games available.
Plus, I'm waiting to see if Nintendo will finally show some Zelda and Metroid this E3, although I also can't wait to see Halo V, more FF XV and Witcher 3.
Since the forced Kinect is over, that has made the Xbox One look much better. I've been playing Xboxes for ages and they're great systems.
@Shenmue_Jehuty The Wii-U is probably beyond saving at this point, but a Zelda and Metroid, plus this game and the few titles it already has could add up... sorta?
If they don't bumble the Zelda, that should sell a few units.
@spacecadet25 I hate to admit it, but you're right. There were many frustrating parts in the game and some lousy design decisions. For example: when I die at a boss, why do I have to run back to the boss through the same mob of enemies just so I can retry the fight?
There were some terrible design issues in this game and it's a shame, because the world and combat is excellent. It's too bad that they view punishing the player unfairly as making the game difficult.
I really DID enjoy playing it, BUT I would never play it again. Perhaps it was some kind of bragging rights for me that I finished it?
@ReadingRainbow4 Hmm... I'm still on the Otogi 3 bandwagon. LOL
They need to take a break from these Souls games, IMO. Who knows what they'll do next? I doubt E3 will have any news. We'll probably have to wait until E3 2015 before From Software shows anything.
