Charging new game price for an old game, why couldn't they just come up with AOE4?

I am 50/50 on this game. It looks pretty good from the videos, but still will have to see for myself. I'll wait a week or so after game is release to read the reviews and comments of others, and will go from there.

@Zinderin @byrom23 You have a point there becaise I did not look at it like that. I was only concern that we would pay retail for this game and would be force to pay a monthly fee to support the servers upkeep. This is bad either way, because like you said, when they decide to unplug the server, the game I paid for would be useless.

@TibLion I know I have to buy the game, but would refused to pay a monthly fee for it.

I'm going to give this game a try, I did not like SC4 and crossed over to Cities XL which turned out to be a failure due to lack of online subcribers. This game better be free to play or I fear it will face the same fate as Cities XL online. If so, then I will just go back to Cities XL 2012.
