I really disliked the auto aiming in the last game. Hold down the left trigger and the crosshairs auto tracked the target to lock on the enemy ship. I rather it be the ships weapons shoot straight ahead meaning you need to lead your target like the good old xwing and tie fighter games. Sure you could play the last battlefront in that manner but it became pointless if everyone else was uses the auto track/aim function. I looks like they've not changed this watching that video?
@ps3gamer1234: hahaha yep absolute dicks and just embarrassing. There were so many women awaiting rescue on the beaches of Dunkirk fighting a rearguard escape to get out of France. Oh and people of colour they made up more than half of the evacuees ......oh and don't forget the squadron of broads flying hurricanes over the cliffs of dover out of horn church!!
I have no issues with feminism, people of colour, gays, bi's, etc but let's not go putting stuff in just to make people feel included and all warm and fuzzy for the love of god.
@Pelezinho777: me too. BIA was the gaming version SPR. A lot would have to change with this series to receive those type of accolades. It will sell well, it will probably score 8's, but it's the same old cod with the ww2 coat of paint.
@angrycreep: I have to agree. As I don't own a Xbox this gen I'll pick up the x1x to compliment my PS4, seems like a no brainer at the price point if you don't own one or aren't upgrading. Then I can pick and choose what 3rd party titles I want having all the bells and whistles if one machine is going to look/perform better than the other
@expredator: agreed 100%, coma is probably more appropriate. The trailers for this game look horrid. I love the ww2 setting, I just wished this series would roll over and die.
Might pick one up to compliment the PS4 as I don't have a xb1 at present. It would be nice though if it had some crap hot exclusives to go with it and really warrant the purchase.
Aside from the new xbox1x I'd say the whole of e3 has been a little underwhelming this year. Not owning a xbox1 I'll probably pick this up to compliment the PS4, which incidentally still has way better games in the works, but aside from that nothing that really jumped out and said take my coin now. I guess as some of these releases get a little closer I'll get a little more pumped. Didn't see any of the new Star Wars games being worked on aside from BF2.
I want a return to WWII but not with Activision and COD as I just don't care for the series. I'd love to see the Brothers in Arms story arc be completed, and I'm hoping Dice will go back to WWII in Oct/Nov of 2018.
It would be a massive gamble but it would be amazing if Dice did the Korean war. They took a punt with BF1 and it seems to have worked, I can't see why Korea couldn't be a success although it's a touchy topic right now.
Vietnam would also be good. As long as the gameplay is as fun as BFBC2 I'll be happy with what ever the next BF installment is.
Ahh man you guys have listed some epic games there, that bring back some great memories. Allied Assault was a cracker, the original COD, the original BF1942 was great, and Road to Hill 30 and EIB are probably my 2 favourites for story along with brilliant game play. Hell's Hwy was a flop for me after the first two installments as far as game play went the story was ok. COD MW was pretty good for a SP story but the MP didn't really do much for me. My all time fav for MP games is BFBC2 along with it's Vietnam expansion which was brilliant. Just so many fun ways to kill people and blow shit up, great map design and a plethora of weapons that all felt unique to use was so so good. BF3 was fun but such a massive let down after how good BFBC2 was, at least in my eyes. I didn't bother with BF4 or hardline, but am enjoying BF1 at present. I don't really care for COD but I'll pumped for what dice can potentially dish up in Oct/Nov 2018 on the WWII front or maybe Korea??
