True.

Though I've had a bast with Super Stardust HD, Nucleus, flOw and other downloadable games.

Also kinda pissed that I don't own a single PS3 disc-based game.

By contrast, I bought 4 X360 games and even a Wii game this month alone.

Dur?

Madden 08 on 360 is the best American Football game on the current generation of consoles. Fun as heck, especially with a fiend.

Dude, everyone that owns a PS3 and buys games is enjoying/will be enjoying WarHawk.

It doesn't have the best graphics or audio, but it's fun as hell and has an already huge amount of people playing it.

Complete opposite for me. my 360 maxes out my bandwidth (around 1 MB/sec), but PSN only pulls 250-300 K. Both Wired connections.

If it lets me actually draw a box around the units I want to select, it's already better than C&C 3 or LotR: BFMEII.

Playing those games on 360 actually made me upgrade my PC.

Hopefully between Halo Wars and EndWar we'll get a true representation of a "good" RTS on the current generation.

...and I'd love to see Wii RTS titles. Sure the graphics aren't that great...but it could, and should work like a charm.

Especially with Nintendo games. For example, Tiger Woods 08 is "released" tomorrow, but EA shipped it last week and a lot of stores had it on Thursday/Friday.

Nintendo really does wait until the "release" day to, er...release the prodct from their warehouse. The closer you are to Redmond, the sooner you'll see the game in stores, with the possible exception of Nintendo World.

Here in Canada, most Nintendo games "released" on Monday aren't in our stores untill Wednesday or Thursday of that week.

Oh, and both the e-mail I got, and the dumb-assed Metroid preview channel say "In stores August 28".

You probably won't see it announced until after they finish with PoP: Assassins, er Assassin's Creed. Too bad they didn't stick with the plan and make it a new PoP game.

The 1Up review tells us to dust off our Wiis. Sounds like the GC.Angry_Beaver

Literally what I did today. My Wii gets pretty much zero non-VC use.

[QUOTE="ShmenonPie"]Graphics look average, and they're not HD. So no, IMO.-wii60-

Metroid Prime 3 looks really good for a wii game, it doesn't need to be HD only to look good.

When you own an HDTV it really does. A 480p source is not too pleasant to look at on a 1080p TV at all. If only Wii had a built in upscaling system like PS3 does.

Seriously it makes a world of difference on PS2 games.

The problem we always run into with Wii games is that they look good "for a Wii game". Hopefully soon, they'll just look good. I'm not expecting games to look like my 360/PS3 collection, but something's gotta give.

If Nintendo wasn't charging $60 (CAD) for games it may be easier to stomach. I'm far more forgiving on titles when I'm spending $20-40

[QUOTE="bryehngeocef"][QUOTE="Homesrfan"]

Because the PS3 is so much better?

Seriously - way to get this article out before Metroid Prime 3, SSBB, SMG, Zack and Wiki, BWii... good job CNET...

loco145

Did you read the article?

It said that the real issue with Wii is that most of, if not all of it's future big hits will be Nintendo titles...like 90% of the ones you just listed.

Just like GameCube.

The key difference is that the Wii is selling like Crazy, and the GC didn't.

Yeah, but the games really aren't doing too well for the most part.

I know I buy more games for my 360, PSP, DS and even PS2 games than I do Wii games.
