Thanks for the replys. It seems that I'm going to give Lotro a try. What I really want is an immersive experience and a fun mmo to boot. Plus, f2p is always a bonus!

I recently have been in the market for an mmo to play. It's the summertime and I have a bit of time to burn. I'm tired of WoW and am really just waiting for GW2 to release in late August. So, I was thinking either Rift or Lotro would be a good choice for me. I played Rift at release but, it didn't hold my attention for more than a month. But, I've heard a lot of new content has been released and the game has been polished quite a bit. I would like to hear anyone's opinion on which game is best for pve focused content and would be a fun game to play leading up to GW2.
