My nephews and nieces enjoyed the Lego games so much they would finish playthroughs in one sitting, with bathroom and lunch breaks, now and then. I honestly enjoyed them just as well.
I agree, fun isn't something you can objectively measure, that is why reviewers are allowed opinions.
But it just appears that this game wasn't evaluated well enough for its merits, but rather subjected heavily to this reviewer's bias.
Dude, it's a game rated PEGI 7. Read: for kids ages 7 and over. This wasn't designed with you in mind. You're clearly an adult, and if you find this simple and want more complexity, go play Dark Souls or something that was designed for your age.You reviewers should be ashamed of yourselves for getting your biases in the way of things.
@raikiry @brain56 @TomMcShea I haven't gone around a bit, the new layout is a bit confusing. Maybe it's there somewhere, just takes some getting used to. We might end up liking it.
@timthegem Thanks. A lot of people think that I'm just ranting or something. But I really want to come across an objective feedback -- and that the reviews those two make recently are heavily flawed.
This is great and exciting news. This could be Gamespot rearching back to its former glory. I wish you also rebuilt your reviewers from the ground up. Case in point: @TomMcShea and Carolyn Petit.
@Gelugon_baat @brain56 Touche, perhaps in your eyes, but not necessarily those of anyone else. His/Her comment is still a valid and constructive comment to me.
This "agree to disagree" crap is really tiring me. If you're only going to argue with a subjective response like that, then it's best you stop participating in the discussion at all, you're not contributing anything to the topic at hand.
