@Oni True that, I just love Hayter's voice for Snake. What's more annoying is the fact that they haven't changed the Japanese voice actor. Its B.S.

Whilst Sutherland is a good actor, taking Hayter off of MGS is a HUGE mistake - it will just be wrong to watch snake, who has always had the voice of Hayter, to suddenly change to Sutherland. Very crudely put, it's like taking Peter Griffin's voice and changing it to Homer Simpson- who the heck would watch it if that happened?!

@Aethereal666 You can't take history from 2000+ years ago and use it like you did. More often than not roman 'murders' were based on law or they were political ie proscriptions, or in the case of Gaius (Caligula) he would murder because he lost money at gambling and killed the first rich person he saw and confiscated his property to recover the loss.

And NO not all murders got blamed on beggars and never solved thats the most stupid comment I've ever heard. In fact romans were very proud at bringing the law into society, much like we are today.

Sorry but you can't use Roman culture and society as a comparison.

Like i said, don't make such broad sweeping comments if you clearly don't properly understand what your saying.

But I'm not so stupid to dismiss that there are very few things we can draw from the Romans, but you cant use it like you did.

At any rate, what the hell does it have to do with murder in our society? If anything, you actually made a good point about guns being easy to use, access etc.. therefore why wouldn't you ban them and thereby making all the problems go away.... (well as far as you can anyway as people can still get them illegally)

@Aethereal666 I'm an ancient historian at university and can tell you that there is no way you can compare the Romans to modern society. This is because as a culture the Romans were completely different, they were based on murder and war. As seen by their furious imperialism during the Republic.

Now i can admit we are still waging wars, but nothing like the Romans and thats because our culture has changed, our social perspectives are different. The gladiatorial games were events in which the murderous ethos of society was dissipated.

Murder was part of the Roman constitution! For example, if a man (roman citizen) caught his wife in the act of adultery he was entitled to kill both of them on the spot.

Please don't try to sound smart and use comparison unless you know what your talking about- otherwise you sound stupid.

Furthermore, even if one takes your comparison it highlights a point i made earlier. Now there are romans who murdered innocents, but they did it in the absence of violent games and media, it didn't exist.. therefore if you take this through the ages murder happened irrespective of violence in media; therefore it doesn't make sense to just blame media and not the tools of the trade ie guns- that's just stupid.

Lastly i agree with you, there is a huge problem that is overlooked- the perpetrator. He was a psycho, and normal people aren't like that. But what you seem to have overlooked in what you said was that your agreeing that its media's fault not guns, therefore hypocritically aren't you silly in saying "pointing fingers at anything other than the twisted person that pulled the trigger is just ridiculous"? and isn't blaming games and other media just a "cop out"?

@DarthLod @Oozyrat

No not cowards just have common sense.

How did the "nutcase" kill the children?.... hmmmmm WITH A GUN.

If you take away the gun... he cant kill anyone

Granted he could still get hold of one, however if you take away the fact he cant get it legally, it becomes so much harder for him to get one that there is a huge chance he never does.. thereby not killing innocents.
