2017 is a damn good year and definitely the best one we've had in a long time. I don't think I'd go as far as saying it's the best ever...unless Super Mario Odyssey and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 somehow end up being better than Super Mario 64 and the first Xenoblade, which are literally my two favorite games of all time :P.

Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger being at the top definitely pleased me.

I think after E3 and beyond will be a better indicator of whether Nintendo is "back." Nintendo has a solid first party lineup this year, but if they don't keep up the momentum and get third parties on board, they're going to be in for a shit storm.

Definitely Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. as far as multiplayer games go. I've also played a lot of platformers/side scrollers so I'm pretty solid at those as well.

Surprisingly...none so far! Granted, I haven't purchased a lot of new games.

So...now EA is seeing that the Switch is selling like hotcakes and wants to jump on the bandwagon, huh? I'll believe it when I see the games announced.

I highly doubt it's better than RE4. If RE7 is anything like REMake, then it's definitely not as good since I think the controls for that game are garbage.

Nope, FF VI is the greatest Final Fantasy I've ever played.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe definitely takes more advantage of the Switch's hardware, but Breath of the Wild is the superior game as a whole.

I'd consider Persona 5 and Chrono Trigger to be roughly on the same level of greatness and Final Fantasy VI just barely misses the list for me.
