@ewjiml @Alex_09 I was going to say the same! For all those claiming that this game is somehow more linear than any of the previous games including Blood Money, well, you guys really need to go back and replay those games! Not just go back and play them, but also take note of their design, mechanics and level layout. You'll be surprised to find that this game actually does have more options available to you then the previous ones. I've been playing this series since the very first game (PC) released and while the illusion of non-linearity has gotten better, the games are all still very linear affairs in that there is a limited and finite manner of ways to enter, exit, and pull off what you need to do. There has never been any total freedom, but rather a varied selection of set options to reach your goal with a finite set of branching paths to reach them. I still see "three ways in, one way out" game design, just like the previous Hitman games. If anything, this game is only guilty of is being a little more obvious how to clear a mission without too many re-attempts. That still doesn't however, take away the numerous options you have available within the mission level to do so.

@m1nd7r1p Pressing and holding... That was my issue as well. As long as you remember that to open doors you only need to press the Y button and not hold the button, your problems will most likely be solved. I had the same issue in the same exact spot and earlier by the lobby in the clerks room where I was trying to open a door and just kept swapping the fire extinguisher next to it with the item in my hand. It wasn't until the elevator that I realized what I had been doing and once I corrected myself I had no issues since. Doors are tap, item pick ups and such are press and hold. Problem (mostly) solved!
