@CommandoAgent @MK245 Did you play it? It is kind of a re-skin WITHOUT some of the components (landmarks, religion, etc); still has same AI tho so... *shrugging shouders* meh.

Love the new skin tho!

@nick_capozzoli @simc1 The good news (perhaps) is that Firaxis will sell DLC packs to include space religion, space art/culture, and space brave new worlds.

The sad thing for me is that I believed Firaxis was mildly above launching without a really complete game and then adding on (they did it with Civ V but I thought it was because fans asked for components, not because it was a planned cash infusion)... Meh, we all eventually need cash; proceed with the selling out of souls!

@nick_capozzoli @boogity1 Interesting - I know that is one of the issues regularly highlighted by the Civ V community - thought they might make it feel more authentic (esp. on the diplomacy side where you were only friedns for about 5 turns before your ally attacked you!).

Nick - what is your take on the multiplayer AI. With 1 other player, my experience has been that Civ V AI is aggressive until about turn 100-150 and then they lie down and let the players take their landscape (the most wins at the end). is it the same here? How does the multiplayer FEEL vs the single?

3) you keep telling us that some gamers love your decision to make what you call an MMO? Okay, prove it. Create a change.org petition and direct all your simcity lovers to it. Lets see who has more in one month... Yours, or the anti-simcity DRM one that currently has 70,000+ signatures. Some people like to be peed on, but you can't apply that broadly so please stop pissing on everyone and telling us that some people like it.

4) please think about the industry. You gave a horrid, not-even-beta-ready product that can't even meet the attributes you sold it on and you hate customers so much, you can't even give refunds? Beyond fraudulent selling, you are ensuring a loss in future sales from people dropping out of the market all together. Beyond customers, the industry should be upset.

Please stop spinning and prove your "straight talk"

Lucy,

Stop; just stop. As one marketing professional to another, it isn't working... Yes, you have admitted that execution was poor but you continue to tell us the vision is what we asked for and that some people enjoy the online components. Tell you what:

1) prove that the design is what we wanted. Show your market research presentation. You had to have one, right?

2) gamers are enjoying the online "blah blah blah". What gamers can even use it? My region built an acropolis and my other city hasn't been able to see it built for 3 days, we just lost a city that my friend spent 3 days building, and I sent simoleons to my other city 2 days ago and they still haven't arrived. Your core principle is broken and you tell me that people are having a glitch free experience???

@Joeguy00 No doubt - my point is that in the original you could kneel which was similar to cover. Here, you have to find a rock. It is positional kneeling, but kneeling none the less.

@Smokescreened84 @dannyodwyer @Pastachip @jonmar demo sucked. made you feel like the game is not alien hunting, but a ipad version of "find cover in 1-2 moves or die". It had better go beyond that.
