Just hit him and don't ever get hit untill the fight is over?

Dodge when he takes out his shield.

Ninja run when helicopters shoot at you.

Be agressive, stun and interupt his attacks as much as possible.

If you just run trough the story the story is kinda meh, But and this is a big but, when you listen to the codecs during every mission you get so much info about the story, the world, the characters, the technology, different views on different aspects of life, some times its ridiculous sometimes its deep, sometimes its just funny, and sometimes it makes you smile. I honestly havent gotten trough all the codecs there is just too much, after every checkpoint just make sure to hit select and talk to the characters multiple times, there is hours and hours of conversations, everythime you get passed a check point or something they got new stuff to say, and yes it's mostly interesting. So yeah story wise codecs are great but i kinda wish you could talk/listen to them while fighting, instead of just sitting and listening for hours.

Also I think that the codec conversations are longer than the actual game. xD

Actually you dont have to play it to understand the story. You can download the Metal gear database on PSN which is like a huge encyclopedia of the whole metal gear world. But playing trough the previous games will prolly be more involving and fun then reading pages and pages of text on your tv.

Hmm let me resume it all to 3 single things you must remember.

1 Stay betweem them and focus more on dodging than attacking, they will attack each other.

2 If you time your hits right you can clash swords with them, after you clash swords enough times with them their sword will be forced out of their hands and they will be on the ground trying to recover for a few secs. During that time they will be innofensive and they will take 2 times more damage than normal.

Btw they can clash hits with each other as well.

3 Try killing them at the same time, if you dont the remaining one will take his brother's sword and become a real pain in the lower region.

Remember this and they should be as easy to beat as eating cake in front of a fat kid on a diet.

Nero doesn't have a DT he has the Devil arm which can be upgrade to devastating effects. oh and I like DMC3's DT I reckon it was the best until now, Dante's DT in DMC4 just takes the cake.

Swift_Boss_A

Yes Nero does have a Devill trigger and No its not confirmed to be "vergil" (the chance to that are slim).
