@Bread_or_Decide I don't think you understand reviews. Thinks like graphics, controls, AI are not opinions, they are either good, or they are not. Why would anyone want to read that some guy named Kevin doesn't like Destiny?
@Tylermaxx We live in a world that likes to quantify things with grades/scores. They give the snapshot of what is thought of the game (or movie, etc). My point is that as a web site/company....if scores are going to be given, they should be consistant.
@greaseman1985 @bobloblaw17 My point isn't to say that Destiny should get a high score...it was that Hyrule is a simply rehash of Dynasty Warriars but with Zelda characters. Yet Hyrule Warriors got a much better score than recent Dynasty Warriors games.
@Soundaholic92 @bobloblaw17 @greaseman1985 In a review, I don't want an opinon of the game, I want the facts of the game. Are there original concepts? Is gamepley repetative? Smart AI? Graphics? Responsive Controls? A scale should then be made that uses this information. I agree that Kevin's review does seem to cover these points, but then the point scores just seem to be pulled out of a hat. The scores really seem to be the problem.
@greaseman1985 I don't really care about the score or the review...the problem is that this sight is not consistant at all with their reviews. Video game reviews and news is basically the product that Gamespot offers. There should be consistancy in their product.
In other news....Hyrule Warriors got an 8. 10 hour game that is nothing but repetative gameplay. Bungie should have used Zelda characters in this game...would have been given a 9!!
@4kgamer_lmxxx Haha. It mentions a 10 hour game...only 10 hours? How dare they! Where are all of the cries that there is not enough content in this game? Is it not the same price as Destiny???
@StHapns247 @Monsterkillah The bottom of the review specifically mentions "does little to evolve the Warriors recipe" in the "bad" section. So...same gameplay, different characters and story is my take.
@Def_Defyin @bobloblaw17 @dronzie So what I am hearing is that not all Gamespot reviews are created equal? Bungie should just take away the leveling and loot and then call this a shooter....the review score would then probably jump to an 8.5. haha.
