Bethesda? No. Bethesda is a third-tier, maybe even fourth-tier developer. But BioWare? I think BioWare isn't as talented as Obsidian in terms of creativity, but they have immense resources behind them. Like I said, you have to balance creativity with practicality, and I think while Obsidian is more creative and will come up with more interesting games, I think BioWare will come up with overall better games if they choose to dedicate all of their resources to it.
KotOR2 is probably the best example I can use to illustrate the difference in capability. Obsidian still needs to find a balance of their own because of limited resources, IMO, whereas BioWare has so much resources (thanks to EA) that they don't have to find a balance.

I think Bioware are well past it. They seem to have abandoned the licensed stuff which, lets face it was the only good stuff they made. I can not see how the fiction of Dragon Age can hold up to forgotten realms, their attempt at Sci-Fi with Mass Effect was laughable. They haven't eben doing too well with their other recent stuff. Jade Empire was a disaster and Sonic Chroniclesis an ameturish RPG that even furries couldn't enjoy
Kotor2 was a rushed POS but it was their first crack at an RPG since the closure of Black Isle. They've improved so much this gen to the point where Alpha Protocol, Aliens and Storm of Zehir are amongst my most anticipated RPGs
Thanks everyone I think I'll get a PSP 3000.

It's not though. This isn't a case of the odd incompetents compaining about the PS3 architecture or doing a shoddy job. We're talking valve, ID, Codemasters, Capcom etc
The PS3 getting the worst of multiplatform games is the rule not the exception and in those rare instances where it's not the PS3 version requires an install. It's simply not acceptable
The PS2 was a lot less powerful than the competition and it stacked up well, WTF happened?
Can someone explain something to me
The Xbox was more powerful than the PS2 so practically all multiplatform games are better on the Xbox
The PS3 is more powerful than the 360 so practically all multiplatform games are better on the 360
WTF is that all about?
The framerate isn't awful, but you can definitely tell a difference between the 360 and PS3 version. Things are a tad bit more "jerky" on the PS3. And some textures look alright, while others look lacking, but I didn't come across any as bad as the Big Daddy -- but there's another thread on the main page that shows other examples of the lacking texture work on the PS3 version. Also, the water doesn't look as good after the piece of the plane rams through that glass tube area.

 Superior version my ass
I think it's really telling that they've had an extra year to work on the PS3 version and the framerate/textures/water are borked. I remember playing the demo on the 360 and it was great
OMG, I swear to god... it's real! :o If you don't believe me, go look for yourself.BioShockOwnz
How bad is the framerate? and is the pixellation limited to big daddies or is it everything?
