Wii is much better than the original Xbox and Gamecube no-one can dispute that. However the Wii is inferior to the Xbox and PS3 and (especially) the PC because there's so manty multiplatform games these days
You dont buy a PS3, 360 or PC you'll miss out on most of the great games this gen. That's what's wrong

Notice that the graphics look a lot worse and the environments look like hi-res FF12 environments. Notice that the amazingly visceral flexible combat has been turned into the same crappy combat you saw in FF11. Combat that is a lot worse than even moster hunter on the wii
It used to be one of the finest looking console games I ever saw, now it looks like Infinite Undiscovery 2
I think that LBP is going to be one of the finest games of this gen. Sure it has floaty controls and the level creation takes a lot of time and effort
but it's the posterboy for user generated content. I still think it'll sell like crap as cows dont buy games unless they're shooters but as a game it is a true step forward
PS3 has a smaller install base than the 360. PS3 is outselling the 360 in every territory this year. By selling MORE than the 360 it is gaining ground (however slowly)
Killzone 2 loks amazine, but Killzone 2 sucks. Heavy Rain looks great, but no better than Alan Wake. White Knight story looked like crap the last time it was shown
At its best the PS3 can have better graphics than the 360. The problem is that we rarely see it at its best and practically every multiplatform games is better on the 360
