I've been composing and producing music as a hobby when I have free time for the last two years. It has become a real passion for me. I've also written books, made artistic designs with Photoshop, created maps/levels in several games (my last one being a Starcraft 2 scenario called Strategic Assault). Of course, creating is only one side of it, since I thoroughly enjoy contemplating art or immersing myself by listening to music, watching movies, playing video games, reading books (especially Fighting Fantasy gamebooks), buying artbooks... Art is the true meaning of life for me. I'm looking forward to the day when I'll be able to fully devote myself to artistic creation.

You're probably better off to just download some quest mods, lots of good ones out there.

Some people say that the PC version of Skyrim is so much better than the console version. I've looked at some "top Skyrim mods" and I'm only using "realistic colors and real nights" and "realistic lightning". Could someone recommend me some mods that truly add something significant to the game without affecting performance?

try some of these mods if you like survival http://www.gamersnexus.net/features/gg/853-skyrim-hardcore-survival-overhaul in my opinion, good ones are Camping Kit of the Northern Ranger and Total Realism Basic Needs by ManSh00ter

That sounds interesting, I will try it out. Thanks.

i have a problem with gamersgate. can not open the website

With the bethesda collection on sale for 28$, that's no surprise... Why would they even sell it so cheap? This bargain is so incredible they must not be making any kind of profit with those sales.

I think it's a glitch. Prices have kept changing on GamersGate for other games as well.

Is far cry 3 worth getting? What's it like?... I think I heard some ppl say it was like skyrim? :pyodude1026

There are some similarities, just like you could compare it to Fallout 3. I've only heard good things about this game. I really can't wait to try it. I'm waiting for a 50% discount, which might happen during the spring sale (I know, I'm cheap).

I just bought the Elder Scrolls collection (ES, MW, Skyrim) for 26 dollars on GamersGate! A few minutes after my purchase, the price rose to 52$! Glad I managed to snatch it in time!

I have to admit that even though I think that those weapons that kill tens of people very quickly should be banned, it would most likely not solve much. I just thought it was the right thing to do.

Body searches and security guards were the first things that came to mind as well, and I did mention it earlier in this thread, but since the topic of this thread is about gun control, my focus was on gun control. Since gun control is the least important aspect that should be changed, I guess I'm done talking about it because it's a bit pointless.

I'm not going to stay here all night long, so if you have other things to add, I will read them tomorrow.

But if they get them illegally than they could go to jail for having them even if it's for a legit purpose. As for people with mental problems, sure, it would be nice to keep guns from them but the guy here in CT stole the guns from his mom who he also murdered.

That would be the case if owning such a gun is criminalized. It could just be a fine, and the destruction of the weapon. Things like this will always happen, but we should change things so they don't happen as often, and when they do, not as many people are killed.

Indeed. Of course, I'm not trying to say that only automatic weapons should be looked at, but what I personally dislike isn't a weapon that can shoot exceptionally well, but rather a weapon that can shoot down a big amount of people very quickly. That was one of my first posts in this thread.

What do you see as a better approach to stopping gun crime. Outlawing guns, or improving our mental health system.? Which one by itself could you see potentially lowering gun crime more?

Improving our mental health system, of course. The whole process that decides if someone should have the right to own a gun should of course not only evaluate people, but treat people who have problems. A gun just seems like another option that seems easy to do without being too costly.
