I remember I got so excited when I first got an email about this coming up for preorder, as I thought it was going to be a Lego version of the NES Mini. Would have been cool to have a NES, NES Mini and a Lego NES Mini next to each other. But alas, ‘tis just a Lego set... So obviously it was a hard pass.
Every time trophies or achievements get mentioned there are always people that ask ‘Why?’ or ‘Who cares?’ or ‘What’s the point?’, and ‘They’re meaningless’.
A guy I know tries to Platinum every game he owns. He has over 70 Platinum trophies.
Me myself, I like them for one reason and one reason alone. I use them to track when I first got a game to when I actually finished it. I make sure to get at least one trophy or achievement on the day I get a game to see how long it took me to actually get around to playing it. My trophies don’t so much reflect my accomplishments, so much as they do memories. I can check a date and remember why I completed a game so fast, or why it took me three or four years to actually get a chance to finish it. Without getting too sentimental 😂
@datameister: I can only imagine he’s playing it on PS4, as I played through the entire game at launch on Xbox One X (also played it a bit on my Day One Edition) and had no problems whatsoever. I actually loved the game so much I paused playing my second playthrough of Marvel’s Spider-Man on PS4 to finish it, it’s just that good a game. I’m currently playing Shadow of the Tomb Raider (from Humble Bundle Choice) again on Windows, and the game looks insane 😬
@bdrtfm: I’m buying the Playstation Classic to go alongside my other regular PlayStations (One of which I got for my fourth birthday when it first came out), the others I just acquired through people giving them to me instead of throwing them out (I now own four, plus my girlfriend has one) ?
