I think for Zombie U you actually have to use the Gamepad and the touch screen, but I'm not 100% sure on that. . . You're right about having a lot of contorl choices for the Wii U in general though!
You people just don't get it! The person with the tablet IS the 2nd player. . .or the 3rd,4th, or 5th. The person who is controlling Mario(off camera in this video) is the MAIN player! You can play this game with the Wiimote, Gamepad Pro, or the Gamepad with using the buttons! You only use the stylist if you're the EXTRA player who doesn't control Mario! Do you get it now?! Also, you shouldn't "call it going backwards" until you've at least tried it!
EXACTLY!!! Anyone with at least half a brain would have used the Gamecube controller, or spent the $20 on the Classic Controller Pro, instead of letting their $200 + investment go to waste! People are just so fricking lazy and/or stupid!
That's what I've been trying to tell the ignorant people who say that the Wii U uses "7year old tech"! It is sending a wireless HD signal to the gamepad with ZERO LAG and then receiving the stylist input at the same time without any slowdown!!! That shit is mind blowing to me!!!! I'm glad that I'm not the only one who understands the incredible tech going on here! : )
I don't know. . . maybe 5 players at one time, HD graphics, and you can play it by yourself on the Gamepad screen if someone else is using the TV. Not to mention the Miiverse intergration where you can instantly see tips and comments form your friends for each level when you are navigating the "level select" screen! Those are some pretty "new" features in my book! : )
"7 year old tech"??? Wirelessly steaming HD video to a tablet device INSTANTLY without lag is pretty fricking amazing if you know anything about technology! People seem to be ignoring just how much of an achievement that is!
And for those who are doubting the graphics of the Wii U need to remember 3 things. First, this is a launch game! Remember how the 360's games looked when it first came out??? I do! They looked like high rez PS2 games! Secondly, this game has only been in development for about a year, so give them a break! Lastly, this footage is "OFF SCREEN" people!!!! Check out direct feed footage in 1080p of some of the later levels and you'll see that this game looks pretty damn good!
