Considering one could barely classify ME 2 and 3 as actual RPG's, yes, you should have no problem enjoying the games as a non-RPG gamer.

The 360 edition is actually based on the pc BETA version of the game that was over a year ago. As a result you will see that some things in minecrat today are missing in this version. perhaps that is justifiaction for a lower price but to say people are getting a bargain based on the PC versions cost is simply ignorant.

gamerfreak1991

The price is the price because Notch is a boss!! We should be thankful that the game exists at all on XBLA. The developer is as indie as it gets and he can dictate the price or Xbox can miss out on a sweet game.

As for the release being the PC Beta... I heard that is changing with a future update. I originally questioned getting it but once I got on my friend's map and started working with him on projects, it solidified any questions I had prior to purchasing.

I think the price point being at 1600 was all Microsoft's doing, I think if it were up to Notch and all the guys at Mojang it would've been significantly cheaper.

What? Why would you think that? The PC version is 27 bucks. The XBLA version is ALREADY discounted. What more could you want? There is an incredible amount of high quality content contained within Minecraft XBLA. It's priced fine at 20 bucks. I would venture to say that, given the wild popularity of Minecraft, Notch had a lot of sway in how he wanted to get the game onto XBLA, hence why Minecraft will be allowed far more updates than the average game, something MS almost never allows.

Minecraft just became the most successful XBLA launch of all time priced at 20 bucks. I'd say the price was perfect. I bought the game day one on xbox and I love it.

The price will either remain the same or they will institute a tiered pricing model.

No way will they increase the price standard to 70 or 80 dollars. It would be disastrous for sales volume.

Interesting. That's what they said prior world war 2.

Although it is unlikely, there is still a very real chance of global war. Especially in the event that resources become impossibly scarce that would necessitate armed conflict to secure said resources.

Dark matter is an invisible substance that is thought to make up roughly23 percent of the universe.

xWoW_Rougex

Who and how the hell did someone figure this out? 23% percent? I kinda dislike this whole space talk because it all feels like a bunch of random guesses? We don't know **** about the universe so how did they reach such a specific number? I especially hate that wheelchair guy that everyone treats like he knows it all. He's like "aliens do exist." and everyone treat his word as law and makes it officia "This guy pulls random **** out of his ass, aliens officially confirmed!"

We act like we know everything yet we don't know ****. Kinda annoying.

lolwut.

Public education has failed us.

I'm excited to see what Obama will do during his second term. Historically, the second term is the legacy building term so I'm thinking he will push for some serious reform but I guess we will see.

Romney would be a terrible president, so I hope he wouldn't win. I'm more interested to see what happens with congressional elections to be honest.

Basically, only write books if you know they will be as successful as Harry Potter.

Optical_Order

Yeah totally. Only write a book if it will be the most successful book of all time.

Also, don't bother making a movie unless it will gross more money than Avatar.

Oh, and if you want to make a TV show, don't bother unless it will run 20 seasons.

Or if you prefer painting, don't bother pursuing it unless you can paint the Mona Lisa.

Unless of course you want to be a musician, you shouldn't bother unless you can make music that will be as good as The Beatles.

Come on man, you don't have to be able to produce crazy epic blockbusters to make money in the writing/art/music/tv/film world.

The hours are flexible and I generally only write a few hours per day, so that's a positive. On the downside, most of my peers can't write for **** and never get published. It is a cutthroat industry, but that's because it requires innate ability and creativity, which not everyone has.

It really depends if you can create commercially viable content or not. You don't have to be a celebrity/blockbuster author either like some posters are saying. There are plenty of writers that write a lot of novels that only see moderate success, but they write a lot of books so they make a reasonable amount of money. Can you write a lot of content on a consistent basis? Is it good? The only way to know for sure is give it a shot. Write in your spare time and see if you can get anything published.
