Yeah. I have the main GS i go to on speed dial and I have been calling a lot. The guy there that usually picks up the phone is pretty cool and I am friendly with him. He told me to keep calling every day to see if they get any. He also said to check next week, possibly monday for a new shippment. SOOO we will see.
Thing is...I have about 200 dollars of tradein money for Gamestop...so i have to get one there...sucks. I have been calling around and people have been telling me that they stopping shipping the 80 gig and that the MGS4 bundle was a one shot thing. They won't be shipping more of those. Is that true?
I have been looking and waiting for an 80GB PS3 for a couple of months now but haven't been able to find one.They have been sold out in my area for a while. The bundle with MGS4 sold out in minutes and stores have yet to get additional shipments. I doubt they will get more. And don't tell me to check at stores like Bestbuy or Wal-mart. I have...and no. I am really starting to get frustrated and have been thinking about just buying the 40gig model. I was hoping for BC with the 80 because I have some ps2 games I might want to play in the future but I will be selling my PS2 to get more money towards the PS3. Should I wait around more only to be disappiointed again? Is there a chance that there will be a larger restocking of the 80GB model? Or should i just get the 40 along with MGS4?
I got it at BJ's whole sale at launch. All the other stores had been sold out for hours so I went over to BJ's just to see, and sure enough they had plenty in stock. It was great.
Ok so i have been looking around and cant get an answer on any other boards so i figured i would try here, who knows..so lets see..Just today I have been having problems re-connecting to my wireless network with my laptop. Before I would just had to enter the SSID and encryption key once and i was set. Now when i power my laptop back on after it is in sleep mode, i cant get back on without entering the SSID or the key. The boxes for saving the network once i do this are check but i am still having problems.
