It's all how you look at it 480 and below is standard 480 and over is HD

8 years ago before HD becmae mainstream it was basicly said anything over 480 is HD it started out this way now becuase retail needs to sell new models they tell you omg 1080P blah blah blah. When in fact you can not tell the difference between 720p and 1080p on anything 42in and below. even though 720p looks better then 640p 640p is still in some form HD anything over 480 is considered not standard def anymore.

Is this a decent tv for $370? Someone around where i live is selling this tv for that price.

I own a PS3 and resfuse to buy Microsoft. Even if you gave every PS3 exclusive to the 360 I still wouldn't buy. But I have nothing against Bungi or Halo. I feel Halos multiplayer is superior to Killzones. I hope that one day Killzone will catch up so that I can play something as good.

Can Killzones multiplayer ever be as good as Halos?

$200 shipped to your front door for 4 quality satellites and a center channel is still a pretty good price. They may have come down a bit since i bought them, but that was the cheapest I could find at the time. I had a Sony HtiB prior that I paid a $350 for, and this system blows it away. The Sony system wasn't worth hooking up, I would argue the TV speakers sounded better.

Xbox Live is honestly a better service then PSN. Yes PSN is free, but thats why some people use matches and others pay for a lighter. When I played COD MW2 on my brothers PSN i was a bit surprised at the way longer wait times and more laggy gameplay on PSN. MS charges for Xbox Live, but some of that money goes to pay for more servers which makes gameplay better online.. I loved the PS2 by the way. Im not a blind kind of fanboy. I think PS2 sort of had the perfect storm.. they launched 1.5 yrs before the underpowered Gamecube and nearly 2yrs before M$'s first console endeavor XB1 ..

Image retention still happens and burn in, thats an overly opinionated statement. You've made it obvious you own a "Pioneer Kuro Elite" so thats your experience. (its only the BEST of the BEST) Technically burn in can happen on numerous types of screens including LCDs and CRTs. So saying it doesn't happen is incorrect. On topic CRT>LCD pretty much... LCD just doesn't have the performance. Its tech wasn't built for video media to be honest.YoungSinatra25

No its not incorrect, obviously there are exceptions to the rule, but at this point you would almost have to go out of your way to have burn in occur.
