gears 2 deserved that spot for the first time since playing the gears series I actually felt like one of the characters had emotion and the fact that dom had to kill his own wife was a crazy plot twist...gears 2 had a couple of those holy crap moments in my opinion
whoever said ps3 is darker is really dumb...besides in fallout 3 360 is obviously better if you want a darker look. Not to mention the first picture is where ps3 fails...jaggies on bridge and pretty much everywhere for that matter, way brighter compared to 360, and there's no reflection of the bridge in the water...whats up with that
id say after looking at this the only difference is to small to notice...other than that the other difference is destructible stuff is only availible in dx10 so it all comes down to whether you want trees and buildings to be destructible online. I personally after seeing that there is hardly any difference im just sticking to dx9 so i dont have to deal with vista problems....maybe when farcry 2 comes out ill switch.
And another thing... you can do a lot more on a pc than a console. Can you fully search the web yet with all the benefits of a pc? No. Can you download music straight off the internet? No. Also. Its only been 2 years and pc already has better graphics than a console. Sure consoles have the best graphics when they come out but then 2 months later nvidia releases a card that can beat the console. Can you upgrade your console to compete with that? No. If you are a person that wants the best graphics all the time...you're gonna have to shell out some money to get that top quality pc.
I would have to agree with jscherdell88 on that. Even though you spend more money on a pc, you really arent. I had a 360 and was playing on a 51" hdtv. Thats already $1400 right there. then when you add all the games... thats another $300 (13 games) so that brings your total to $1700. With my pc im running a C2D @ 2.8 Ghz, a 8800 gtx, and a 21 inch HP w2007 monitor. If you build the computer yourself like i did, you would spend a total of $1200 dollars. Add on the bells and whistles like a nice keyboard and a terrific mouse and you get a total of $1300 or so. Then add the games which are $10 less than console games and you have a total of about $1500. So let me ask you this...which is really more expensive, a console or a pc?
