If she was a student of mine, my response would be "Solid thesis, now show me your sources and evidence to back it up." As far as I've been able to keep up with the research literature, there is just as much evidence to the contrary as well.
I'm curious, if "The Bad" is "forgettable multiplayer," would the game have been docked on score if the developer just chose to leave it out completely? Then the game would have to be judged solely on its SP, which the review seems to be quite positive about.
I'm a combo of the reader, introvert, and analyst. Of course a good shooter is great too. I would be curious if a gamer exists that is definitely one and only one of the gamer archetypes. Can't stand builder type games though.
Of the three, I'm most like the completionist, except when it comes to ridiculously tough or obscure achievements. I won't spend an extra 10 hours grinding just for one achievement. A good co-op campaign regardless of the genre is high on my fun list too.
I've never played any of those games, and for the most part, I'm not in to turn based games; however, that doesn't change the fact that I found the video incredibly well researched, written, and pieced together. Seriously Danny, this series of yours is my documentary of choice.
